Yes. I agree with the consensus of he lost the first 3-4 rounds and picked it up from there. I'll re watch it next week.

"But I've seen enough from his previous fights to suspect that something was off with him in last night's fight; whether it was a stomach sickness, or something with his team/training."

Definitely, I was a bit freaked out by it too. Especially after seeing the scored cards :scaredas:

:goodHe's damn lucky he closed the show with a highlight reel beatdown stoppage last night, because most of these casuals who also tend to be EE haters would be impossible to shut up.

Yup, been a very long time. I legit miss your posts. Wow, I was actually watching Dervyanchenko and thinking this is the guy to topple Golovkin's reign. I'm not sure man, but I was super impressed by him.

Khytrov has yet to impress me at all.

I love Derevyanchenko but let's get real here he doesn't stand a chance against GGG now or ever, his power is definitely lacking, he couldn't get Ayala out of there in spite of literally beating him from pillar to post for 8 rounds. It took Lemieux 1 round.

Most seem to keep saying he looked like he always does and that they've soured on him for a while. No coincidence to me that it's happened after fighting Melendez, Coley, Brinson back to back, he's not going to shine. Yet he's still stopped two of them and over an 8 round distance.

I still remember a few aficionados who were following Golovkin from the start criticizing him after the Bouadla and Greenridge fights. Khytov doesn't have his ceiling but put him in with something other than an awkward boxer constantly moving, or spoilng like Coley, and he'll look much more impressive but even against those types i doubt they'll hold up over 10 and 12 rounds.

What world class Middleweights fit that bill? Saunders, Jacobs, Monroe, Soro, N'Dam? Hardly any Michael Nunn or Sumbu Kalambay's in there. He'll be fine. Everyone else will be much more stationary and there aren't many guys with the chin and power i'd pick to beat Zhenya head to head in the brutality game.

What was the excuse against Coley and Melendez?

And before you say he was fine then, let's not forget he completely changed camps, training routines, and diet and literally looks like a different person physique wise because he was so upset with his two prior fights before last night. At some point, we have to stop making excuses for him, and I hope he himself can be objective enough to understand that something has to be done, because if he himself keeps making excuses he'll never grow as a fighter and will sooner or later lose his 0

Also can we stop branding everyone as a racist, hater, or xenophobic? FFS I myself am an Eastern European, why in the fvck would I have an agenda against EEs?

:good He needs a few more decent opponents who don't move as much and his stock will shoot right back up. And even his once UD against Coley, Coley was doing everything in his power just to survive there's no way he'd have lasted 10 or much less 12.

Sidenote: we still don't know how good he could be, he was undefeated and hadn't faced a legit contender yet

I thought he looked fine against Melendez and Coley, he shut them out and stopped Melendez.

You're a Bosnian right? Are you a Muslim or a Christian?

    Khytrov himself disagrees with you...

Muslim (semi practicing) I think we're now officially called Bosniaks, as opposed to just being muslim by nationality in the Yugoslavia days

Could that have something to do with your dislike of certain fighters from Eastern Europe and support of certain fighters from Eastern Europe?

*You were the first to bring up race in this thread.

    *Albania is not Eastern Europe.

    *You are a Russophobe/Eastern Slavophobe.

Eubank Jr would utterly destroy Shytrov, would be a mismatch even worse than the Chudinov fight
