He was ecstatic to fight Chavez Jr and Froch at 168. But, I guess with Ward its only half way, I wonder why.

The same reason Floyd demanded catchweight from Canelo. Because he can.

What is bum land? If you mean Canelo and Cotto and Lemuiex are bums in comparison to the awesome power and skills of the God of War himself....I would have to agree.

You're comparing apples to oranges. One guy is one of all time greatest fighters, regarded by manny as the pfp best fighter in the sports. The other is a mere middle weight titlist who's biggest win till date is Daniel Geale.

Of course Mayweather has the right to make potential opponents concede to some of his demands. His opponents are awesomely compensated for their efforts, in addition to enormous exposure the likely would not have gotten without fighting Mayweather. What exactly has Golovkin accomplished in the sport and what does he bring to the table to make the type of ridiculous demands he and his management are making ?

I will be lmao when Cotto and Canelo moves to bigger and better thing after fighting each other.

Didnt Hopkins beat Pavlik at 170? That fight had nothing to do with the middleweight division. Stevenson beat Chad for linear Lt Heavy title.

Kind of funny Hopkins just said this. I recently had a dream Kovalev stopped GGG.

    lemuiex is a rubio leftover
canelo have never fought at mw
    cotto is not a mw
the mw has become bumland with the monroes and geales of the world.

whats the point of staying , belts are meaningless.

great fighters have always moved up for better fights

Hopkins moved up in weight when he started struggling to make 160 and was coming off back to back losses after cementing an all time legacy in the division.

Really doesnt apply to a guy still trying to write his own chapter there and makes the weight with ease.

Sounds like Hopkins is starting to worry about Golovkin beating his consecutive middleweight defenses record.

My point goes beyond that as I explained already. His resume is irrelevant at this point to call out big names, especially smaller ones, for a payday. Hopkins and Ward are also calling out the much smaller Mayweather, yet they're doing so with accomplished resumes. Major difference here. DLH called out the smaller Mayweather too, remember?. He was praised for it and rightfully so, because he's DLH and his record speaks for itself.

How could he not be worried?, I mean Golovkin is the Undisputed Champion with a record so strong, his biggest win is Rubio.

How is that his fault? He wants to fight all the MW and they are running scared.

I guess it's easier to lose to Canelo for 2mil than Ward for 1, can't blame em for ducking out of a fight it's ridiculous the excuses GGG gets. The dude is a trying to hype his way to a payday with little risk like most of these new fighters plain and simple.

If it's not his fault then it's absolutely fine to compare his resume with Hopkins' and others at Middleweight?.
