    :lol::lol::nut:rofl

    Well Tommy Burns had a lot more guts than Jack Dempsey. He wasn't afraid to take on his top black contender. He could have hung on to the title and milked it like Dempsey did.

    McVea what's your excuse for Dempsey not defending his country in World War I? Dempsey certainly was nowhere near the American Hero Joe Louis was. I laugh when I see people rate Dempsey above joe. It's delusional

    Just lovely. In the past 48 hours you have said Mercante poked Ali in the eye, and now this.

    No Rainman, I said Mercante poked Frazier in the eye which he did, get some one to read it to you again .

    In the 10th round, Mercante endured what he called one of the most embarrassing moments of his refereeing career when he accidentally poked Frazier in the eye while seeking to break a clinch. Frazier and his corner were furious at Mercante, but Frazier went on to win a unanimous decision in an epic battle.

    Now don't you feel a complete fool.:lol:

    Yes I believe Tommy Burns had more natural talent that Marciano. Him and most of the other heavyweight champions.

    Still waiting for the primary report saying Jeffries ko'd Dunkhorst. Adam does not have in in his Jeffries biography, and pm'd me to state he has no record of it ever happening.
    Another lie you dreamt up,now added to a very long list.:deal

    When will we next see a middleweight so bad, that he can't hack it at middleweight, and decides to try for the lineal heavyweight title?

    Why have so many bad middleweights missed this trick?

    Your arguments are almost making you into a cartoon character here.

    Burns got to face hart to win the title. How many former middleweight greats would beat hart? I would say quite a few. Ketchel would in my opinion. ketchel knocked out men out cold whom beat burns

    Burns is one of the worst heavyweight champions of all time. True or False?

    You can call me names, but I think your views of Dempseys opposition being comparable to Louis is far more looney

    There is a thread around here which lists a lot of Jeffries unrecorded fights (i think that is the thread title). Some of these fights such as a savate one, the George Lawlor fight (which i think happened the day before the finnegan fight), the childs and Frank Craig fight and maybe a few others that probably didnt even make Adam's book, presumably because there was limited evidence and proof of these.

    I must say, i have never heard of Dunkhorst Ko. I would actually like to see a second hand report or even just a passing mention somewhere, for interest sake.

    Where did you hear/read this Mendoza?
