Solis went into the ring with the knee injury.

"German media reported that Solis and his team admitted they knew there was a problem with the right knee before the fight but went through with the bout anyway".

Johnson was as fat as a pig at 260lbs and he was never truly world class to begin with.
Johnson was not rated when he fought Vitali.

And you my friend ,are a 22 carat reta*d.

Solis got hurt by a punch that bucked his knees. Its not like his knee just gave out by moving around. In fact Solis wasn't even wearing a knee brace.

Kirk Johnson weighed in with clothes for his fight with Vitali. Kirk Johnson appears in Ring Magazine annual ratings rated from 2000-2002, with a high rating of 3rd!

    2001 #5
    2002 #8

When Vitail knocked him out in 2003, he fell out of the rankings.

Vitali is 2-0 vs Johnson's, if he fought Jack, it would be 3-0.

Boxing by that time hadn't evolved enough for Johnson to compete with Vitali IMO, no contest for me.

Yes and the reason Kirk Johnson was not in the Ring Annual Ratings for 2003 is because Vitali beat him. If you are ranked in the top ten three years in a row, you are decent.

Vitali is the lone man to stop Kirk Johnson, and he did it in two rounds. In fact Vitali often stopped his opponents faster than the field did in most cases.

Back to the thread, who is your pick between Jack Johnson and Vitali Klitschko?

Johnson weighed in wearing two sweat tops,a pair of sweat pants and trainers, he was just recovering from a cold and fearful of exacerbating it. Vitali beat him in December 2003.

For me what is more telling is that Johnson went down the ratings yearly and the fact he added an extra 20 pounds of fat suggests that he was evidently out of shape.

woah no don't put vitali in the ring with an actual world champion.

He develops allergic reaction, his face falls off.

Best post right here, and the irony is JJ was best known for clinchin skills,as that's what he did best clinch and hit as that was legal in his era.He would get completely demolished, vitali at 6'7 250 is a big step up from the 160/180 pounders he fought.I don't even think he ever defeated a 215 pound while in their prime.JJ extremely overatted won championship from 160 pound Ketchel and lost to guys his own size which was around 200 pounds.Very off balance forward puncher,as can be seen with him falling all over the place even through the ropes from just basic punches he throws.

JOhnson is too clever for vits, late points win or possible stoppage even, vits skins will be ripped to shreds by atgs.

Ketchel was between 5'7 and 5'9 and weighed as low as 156 yet dropped JJ for their HEAVYWEIGHT title fight he lost because he was a MIDDLEWEIGHT?On the other hand you said Herbie Hide was Vitalis best stoppage, yea sure you know what you'te talking about!
