RJJ would box circles around GGG it is so sad this thread is even being commented on in favor of GGG. GGG while a good fighter has not fought an elite opponent as of yet and the MW division while having alot of exciting fighters in it is mostly made up of runoff from the previous era. I cannot get why Golovkin fans cannot see this. The biggest fight out there for GGG to prove his greatness is 1 division above and he won't do it. If he moved up and beat Ward then we can start talking about some mythical matchups but until then while he looks good beating his current opposition he is facing his current opposition whoch isn't all that great.

I hate these threads as well ..Let GGG prove himself all this talk about he will do this and that start proving it ..Ward is a step in that direction..His resume as of right now isn't jumping out at anyone so I don't see why all this hype over a guys who's yet to be tested .

Obviously some people don't have a clue about boxing and only know of this past prime shot to hell Roy Jones. Roy Jones is arguably the fastest fighter in the history of the sport. Add the hand speed, footspeed and Super Hero like reflexes to go along with his punching power at 160 and 168. GGG gets abused and called a bum afterwards. He gets beats at close range, mid range and from the outside by Jones and Jones would be show boating after 2 rounds.

GGG can't even beat Ward and until he steps up please stop the nonsense and stay off the drugs people.

Funny thing is once RJJ beats GGG people will still say he was supposed to beat him. Yall casual fans are something else! The GGG now is still green IMO.

This isnt some comic book type of **** this is real life kid.

Jones either ducks GGG or fights him and gets KTFO.

I have been watching GGG with much interest. However, a prime RJJ was really something special. Why not post something like ....Godzilla or Batman...etc.

I still maintain that, although Roy is clearly the better P4P ATG, Golovkin is an absolutely terrible styles matchup for the young Roy that fought at 160. If you were making a prototype to take out Middleweight Roy, you'd wind up with something extremely close to or exactly GGG.

Styles make fights. Hopkins matches up much better with GGG, but much worse against young Roy.

I feel more comfortable picking Golovkin in this particular fight as time goes on.

Golovkin doesn't seem too bothered by power.. He took a few stiff shots last night and kept moving forward.. Not saying that means he can handle Roy's shots, but I think his style possibly could be wrong for MW Roy.

I've just had this CRAZY idea. Actually, it's beyond CRAZY.

    But how about this:

You actually give us an intelligent breakdown on what you think would have happened??

    How's that for CRAZY?

You could actually have a genuine in depth debate for once, instead of your predictable hit and run trolling nonsense.

I've never seen a guy sign up to a forum and never debate.

    Think about it.

    Good post.

But it's vice versa for me.

Think of a horrible stylistic matchup for GG, and you've got a 25 year old Roy, with insane speed, skills and power.

GGG's jab is a thing of beauty.
