Compare to this massive punch from world-beater Jim Braddock around 1:05: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvhscZl7He4
Yeah it's called video footage of something that actually happened not some mythical fantasy garbage like all you Tyson nuthuggers come out with.... :rofl:rofl
Actually Braddock was a world beater. I hate to be the one to point it out, but he became the lineal heavyweight champion, where Bruno failed. He might have been a weak champion, but he did it.
A. Exactly neither man was prime whereas Louis vs ah scheming was a case of a prime fighter vs a past prime fighter and Louis got his **** kicked regardless. B. And Louis never fought anyone like Tyson but the few people who he did fight who bore some similarities have him hell. C. Irrelevant.. Holyfield was nothing like Louis for reasons I've already pointed out and neither of them were at their best so why bother bringing it up ?? D. Irrelevant.. Louis was also more easily hurt than Holyfield, had poor defense, struggled with fighters who crowded him and could hit him with hooks on the inside and didn't have the upper body strength that Evander had to control Tyson in the chances.. And still we haven't addressed the fact that neither of them were at their best which is moot when comparing a prime tyson to a prime Louis.
For the record I agree that Louis could win but to write this off as a given or use the Holyfield fights as a measuring stick is ridiculous.
I'd say that 216 lbs Holy (quite possibly on roids), definitely hit harder than Schmeling, who was some 25 lbs smaller and definitely not on PEDs.
I think Louis threw fantastic combinations, but this whole "best combination puncher ever" is more than a bit of an exaggeration. I'd have Tyson ahead of him, not to mention the two Sugars. I think Tyson's combinations were just as accurate as Louis's, but more rapid and powerful.
Thats b/c Tyson actually fought real Hw's he was never outboxed in his prime anyway by former 140 pounders like Conn or dropped by 230 pound fat drunkards who are not even on Butterbeans level.
Yes when Bruno was 21 years old with umpteen number of fights and before he had filled out to his prime weight. And Jumbo Cummings was a tough SOB.
