floyd is one of my favorite fighters but i'd love to see him take a loss because he's an ayehole for fighting berto.... he could've fought brook, porter, garcia, cotto 2, thurman, canelo 2, bradley(people never mention him) etc. i want to see floyd lose so i can laugh at him i'd also like to see felix verdejo loose because i don't like the way he looks. i also want kovalev to KO beterbiev because KOvalev is TBE at 175 IMO
I want to see Kovalev put Ward into permanent retirement. And Povetkin to give Wilder a sense of reality
What I really would like to see is a legitimate opponent get to fight Floyd Mayweather on a level playing field & not have the deck stacked heavily in Floyd's favor. Even guys that had very little chance going in had even that small chance taken away eg Ricky Hatton. Cortez officiating was exceedingly biased giving Hatton no chance. When fighters have looked to have beaten him , eg Castillo & Maidana, he always got the decision. Look what happened in the fight of the century on May2atschatsch No wonder the man in the street believes boxing is as fixed as Pro Wrestlingatsch
Sergey Kovalev. Preferably by a Canadian fighter that he thinks can't fight. Probably not though. It will take an American as always. He has been drooped before and can be stun by shots, see. VS Darnell, Pascal, Caparello.
I agree with you. Im not into all that hating nonsense of just wanting to see someone lose. Anyone who wants to see a guy lose is a hater unless youre talking about someone like Broner or Floyd who constantly sh@t on fans and the sport. But a guy like Ward, kovalev,GGG or wilder who dont do anything really to deserve some of the hate they get dont deserve to lose just because so to me its just a bunch of haters.
Personally, I don't like undefeated streaks for too long. I like to see someone lose a battle, and then come back. I enjoy comeback stories a lot more than someone dominating and never losing. So pretty much, any undefeated guy who has been established I'd like to see lose, then make it back to being the best.
I don't know why but KOvalev, guy just comes off to me as being a bit of a ****. Not really a relatable guy in any way. Good boxer to watch, but I'm never feel invest in him as a fighter. p.s why is relatable coming up with a red underline, last i checked it was a word, maybe it's just me.
I don't really want any fighter to lose in general. There are fights where I will root against one opposed to the other and some fighters who I would root against vs. anyone I am familiar with in their division. But not really "I want so-and-so to lose!!" I just don't think that way for the most part. Mostly, it would be that I want particular fighters in tough bouts, undefeated or not, and that would make me seem that I can't wait for them to lose. But if they prove themselves and particularly against opponents I value then credit to them. I will have wanted them to lose a particular match, sure, but if they don't then I don't see the problem.
Something about him that I don't like. I saw a couple of interviews, pre Dorticos fight, with him which bugged me.
