    The boy has been given more gifts than a bar mitzvah and even with the CJ Ross payola with Mayweather he couldn't win. Cotto has been in with the best of the best, so I'm putting it all on Junito to take Saul back to school. He better pack a lunch and kiss daddy Oscar goodbye, class will be in session Nov. 21st.

    Canelo got this. Canelo is going to take Cotto out big and everyone will be whining about how Cotto is old and was "shot" in 2008 and how it doesn't mean anything.

    if miguel moves like he did against martinez he can make this an interesting fight, if he walks forward like against floyd he'l get taken out. Canelo don't hit so well unless his feet are planted.

    Cotto is going to have the "lead-footed" Alvarez walking into shots all night long. If Alvarez has a great beard, he may finish the fight. If not, he will get stopped. I don't buy that this is a "new" Cotto after getting with Roach but Alvarez simply isn't as good as people make him out to be.

    In fairness to Alvarez Mayweather would very likely beat every fighter in boxing right now 154 down.

    Cotto is gonna get ko'd, simple. Cotto hasn't faced a healthy good puncher in a long time. And every time he does, even against smaller opponents like Judah and Pac, he has gotten stunned and hurt. Canelo isn't a one punch knock out artist or anything like that, but he is a strong puncher who will outweigh Cotto by a good margin.

    You could actually see Cotto's loss of interest in boxing during that fight..Trout was fighting the fight of his life and Cotto just couldn't fight find the will to try as hard as he needed to. It was after that Cotto sought Freddie because he's known for offensive inspiration which is what Cotto felt he need, worked out perfect.
