Same as ppl said Huck is fighting some euro level polish guy to pad his record , didnt quite worked out as planned , when a guy can punch as david can there is a chance (and not just a punchers chance that "anyone" has) he can get him flush once and get him in trouble and out of there , unless you beleive that GGG is immortal with iron instead of chin that can never get rattled .... if thats the case then gratz to K2 , they did a marvelous job. :bbb :bbb :bbb

I don't understand how much people really believe GGG is unbeatable. The guy have not been stopped because he has not fought anyone really good, class A opponent. The guy is not a defensive master. The guy knocked out a Geale with a head punch while Cotto knocked Geale with a body shot basically. Canelo had fought mediocre opposition, but still better than GGG's. And Lemeaux is on the same boat than GGG is. Both guys have entertaining styles, similar pro careers except that lemeaux is not as big of a hype job as GGG. I wish for this fight to happen to see how many of asskissing GGG fans jump from the bandwagon.

My prediction is Cotto will beat Canelo and Lemeaux will expose GGG win or loose. Then we will see GGG fighting someone worth a ppv.

 

I could be completely wrong Rummy, but from what I've seen so far, GGG's chin is his most remarkable asset, not his power.

I haven't seen him bothered in the least by any punch.

Of course, I have only watched 6 of his fights in their entirety and a few highlight reels.

 

That's the beauty of boxing man, sometimes you only have a million to one shot. Lemieux has as much right as GGG or anyone to be the next superstar. Fighters will be lining up to fight him cuz they want to try repeating what Rubio and Alcine did, but will get rude awakening. Lemieux might put Canadian/French boxing back on the map and don't be surprised if more like him follow his lead. And it might be Lemieux having a megafight with Canelo, GBP would love that.

 

And will you jump on the GGG bandwagon when Golovkin knocks him out in 4 rounds or less without much problem?

Golovkin is a much better fighter, no doubt. But I'm giving Lemieux his credit. He has a legit puncher's chance and that is more than what most Golovkin's opponents have.

Even though anything can happen and I won't be surprised if Lemieux hurt GGG, I think it's more likely that Golovkin will be hyperaware in the ring- offensively and defensively. We may see a better Golovkin this fight than we've ever seen because it's usually through adversity/challenges that we see the best brought out in athletes.

 

No. I don't have a problem with it necessarily ... just as long as you give Lemieux his credit. When I think of mismatch, I think of Mayweather/Berto lol. This isn't anywhere near that. It's a mistmatch, yes, but Lemieux has the best chance of beating Golovkin out of all his past opponents.
