Yes and no. It would be better if he was an immigrant, like Froch or Calzaghe or Haye, because that way brits would consider normal his superiority to themself; being he brit, they kind of have some inferiority complexes and feel threatened because unlike the typical brit zombie, Fury is not politically correct, not brain dead, doesn't follow the stream, not effeminate, not a *****. He's like a chimera.
You mean when you look like Fury? With his appearance (he's not a pretty boy, but he does look tough), size and, most importantly, his macho personality, with certain kind of broads, he'll do very well indeed. That said, the guy really has gone down hill fast in terms of looks. Maybe something to do with him having looked like a grown man when he was barely into his 20s when he first fought Chisora.

They play to different audiences in terms of women, certainly. For one thing, Wlad doesn't strike me as the type who goes to nighclubs or bars much, Fury does, so that would skew things a bit. Also the fact that Futy's audience would be much easier than Wlad's, if you know what I mean. Still, if you control for all of those things, I would say Fury is more successful just because Wlad is such a robotic guy.
