Marquez, Mosley, Cotto, Ortiz, Guerrero, Alvarez, Maidana I&II, Pacquiao....I'd say this is the best sequence of competition from any fighter the past 5-6 years. If you can list a fighter who has fought and BEAT a better sequence of opponents please list them....I'll wait..

Floyd just beat the guy they said was the best didn't he? So from here isn't the only direction down? There are no more opponents that can raise Floyd's HOF, ATG status, and just in case you forgot, Floyd is 38, his last fight is Sept 12, he's retiring from the sport.

I think it's great that he'll finish his career by giving us a match with an action fighter like Berto. I believe Berto, though they say he is a B fighter, will be more competitive, tougher, and give a better effort than any of Floyd's previous opponents save Maidana I.

Maybe not one after the other, but Pacquiao has been in there with some big names and fought some tough fights:

    Barrera
    Marquez
    Morales
    Morales
    Barrera
    Marquez
    Diaz
    De La Hoya
    Hatton
    Cotto
    Clottey
    Margarito
    Mosley
    Marquez
    Bradley
    Marquez
    Rios
    Bradley

May not have won them all, but he gets so much appreciation from me for even getting in the ring with them.

Hardly an odd remark. Pacquiao won most of them, some of them he "lost" but arguably won, just not officially. Mayweather's run is very impressive indeed. What I'm saying is Pacquiao is the only one who comes close in my mind. What I was also saying is, while I appreciate Mayweather's perfect record. I also appreciate the heart Pacquiao has for getting in with the people on the list I posted. You've seen the wars between him and Marquez, yet they agreed to face each other several times.

The fact that Excusequiao beat those guys just tell you that Floyd is on a completely different level when Floyd schooled Pacquiao. Pacquiao wasn't even competitive with Mayweather. FACT!

There's the BEST and there's the contenders like Pac, Bradley, Marquez, Cotto ... They can fight each other all they want, they can't beat Floyd

    118-110 :deal

But in reality Mayweather lost to Castillo , Maidana, drew with Oscar & should have been DQ'd for his cowardly ambush of Victor Ortiz & also DQ'd against Judah when Roger entered the ring ILLEGALLY I wont mention May 2:patsch:patsch Now he's wanting people to buy a PPV for $75 when he has his farce against Berto who has lost 3 of his last 6 fights:patsch:patsch
Mayweather ATG & TBE ??? ROFLMAO Biggest joke of the century

You're missing the point. Your initial point implied Manny deserves extra credit just for fighting....aka you're giving him biased praise unless you appreciate guys like Boone as well who fights anyone.

Almost right The team of The NSAC, Vegas & its officials , including Bayless & Moretti with a little help from Floyd, conspired together to beat an injured Pacquaio. Despite these enormous odds stacked against him Manny damn nearly BEAT Mayweather. But when you look at the 118-110 & 116-112 scorecards you know there was no way they'd let Manny win.
If Floyd fans can REALLY claim Mayweather won fairly then in no way are they RAL boxing fans:think

Post that corrupt 118-110 card all you want it will never make it legit, If you Floyd fans accept decisions like May 2, Castillo 1, Maidana 1, Oscar & Ortiz as legitimate wins by the better fighter then you have little real faith in your hero. He needs illegal help to maintain that bogus 0:patsch

Floyd never fought a great fighter in his prime.
