If he got knocked out cold, or completely schooled, then there wouldn't be anywhere for him to go really. Obviously if he got jobbed on the cards, in a fight everyone thought he won, it's a different story. In any case, I just can't see past Groves in this one. It'd almost be as big an upset in my eyes than if Berto beats Mayweather, if Groves lost this one.

I don't know Devil... I just feel that Berto beating Mayweather might be the bigger shock..

Groves won't be losing this one imo. Too slick/fast and too much power may jack is a perfect opponent for him. :bbb

To make it clear i am a big Groves fan and desperately want him to win, but playing devils advocate if he did lose would he want to go from elite world level boxing to being on undercards?

Do you see Groves having a better or worse performance than Degale though?

I have a sneaky feeling, if or should i say when groves wins this, he will have a unification fight with degale, with the winner to fight froch, i know he has retired but could his ego stop him from asking for that potential fight

He can still make a beyond comfortable living if he loses. Retirement would be hugely drastic, even if losing the fight would be a huge disappointment to him.
