    pretty naive to think wbc would strip cotto/canelo winner if they wanted to face floyd isnt it?

    Damn you have more faith in the "integrity" of WBC more than the have in themselves.

    Do you really think WBC will enforce the Winner of Cotto/Alvarez fight Golovkin at the expense of a record breaking ppv sanctioning fee that they will likely collect from the winner fighting Mayweather.:lol:

    I think that WBC knows GGG is the next star in boxing, and I think they know Mayweather is retiring in a few fights and would never face GGG.

    But like I said, mute point because Canelo isn't rematching Mayweather anyways.

    For one, it wouldn't be at catch weight and Mayweather won't fight Canelo if it's not at catch weight.
    Two, "I can't make 160"
    Three, there are better financial options that are easier fights
    Four, Golovkin becomes your mandatory
