You're forgetting one point, Holyfield won the fight. As for throwing a 230 pound young fighter at Holyfield... If I'm not mistaken they threw a young 246lb fighter in with Holyfield who happened to leave Mike Tyson on the floor like a baby looking for its dummy, guess what? Evander KHTFO in 3 rounds. Ruddock?? The one trick pony? Holyfield would have marmalised him!!

Let's break this down shall we.

Berbick - Holyfield May not stop him but he will certainly beat him. Berbick is awkward and tough and has a Solid chin. But Holyfield would easily outbox him. Berbick made a career out of beating guys when they weren't at their best.

Bonecrusher - I guess you'd have to give him a punchers chance but not really. Guys with far less the chin of Holyfield were able to take Smith's punches so Holyfield should be able to as well. No way in hell is bonecrusher winning on points he was not a good boxer, painfully slow and very mechanical. Holyfield Wide UD.

Pinklon Thomas - Tyson and Holyfield both fought shot versions of Thomas and both had similar results.

Tony Tucker - Tucker was able to give Tyson problems and my guess is he'd give Holyfield problems too. But in his prime Holyfield often exhibited a higher work rate and threw better and faster combos than the Tyson of "this Tucker fight". Holyfield takes another decision.

Biggs - Biggs would more than likely give Holyfield more problems than he did Tyson but ultimately Holyfield would break him down similar to the way he did most of his opponents and stop him late.

Spinks - another fight where Holyfield would more than likely have more problems than Tyson did.. Spinks is awkward and would probably win his fair share of rounds vs Evander.. My guess is this fight would be close after about seven rounds and then Holyfield would start to figure Spinks out and take over down the stretch. UD

Bruno - this is an interesting fight, Bruno is a big strong heavyweight who's very physical. This would be a tough one for Holyfield.. He is clearly the superior technician but Bruno would be a threat all night long with his punch! Eventually though Frank will gas and Evander will capitalize and finish him. Holyfield tko10

Carl Williams - Williams may be the toughest fight Holyfield has on this list style wise. Carl is a big heavyweight with all the tools needed to bother and really push Holyfield. Carls weakness however was his chin, but Holyfield is not a huge puncher so that may offset the Williams weak chin. Usually if you were going to get Carl you'd get him early. Holyfield is not necessarily a fast starter. This will be a close fight and Carl for whatever reason never wins the close ones. Holyfield takes a split Decision..

So as I stated earlier Tyson wins certain fights in A more spectacular fashion but Holyfield will get the job done his way.

Exactly like I said, he might not win them all in as impressive fashion as Tyson but win them he would, plus I believe he'd beat Smith and Tucker more impressively than Tyson.

Maybe so, Tucker is tough to look good against but Tyson didn't really fight his A game against him, if Holyfield was sharp for this one I have no doubt he'd win and maybe it would be more impressive.

Hed box circles around Smith, Tyson won every round vs Smith but looked terrible doing so but that was on Smith who scared to death of Mike. But Holyfields more pleasing style and higher work rate at his peak would possibly push Smith into taking more chances and getting a more pleasing beating.

Either way we seem to be on the same page.

I just realized while reading over my earlier text (post) that I somehow forgot Tubbs and Holmes

But in my defense I was using the site on my mobile phone and in my vehicle.

    So let us finish

Tubbs - this is another interesting one, Tubbs is quite a slickster. Like Williams he also sometimes shows a shakey chin. But he's got fast hands and is something of a boxing professor (in my opinion) he has great natural reflexes but like most of the 80's crop drugs took a toll on him. I see Holyfield winning on activity and cleaner, harder punching.

Holmes - Holyfield struggled as I mentioned in my original post but though older he may have fought a better version then the inactive version Tyson fought. Holmes had beaten Mercer and stayed busy prior to fighting Evander. Like I touched on in my earlier post Holmes was tough to look impressive against, he was a old pro in every since of the word. So regardless of when they fought it would have been a tough fight. Prime vs Prime I'd probably favor Holmes., against the version Tyson fought I'll take a Holyfield UD.
