Talk of Bradley coming over to fight brook, perhaps sky will look to do a joint package with the Fury vs Klitchko fight and stick it on ppv
sick of the "talk" of who Kell is fighting until it is signed that he is defending his title against someone worthwhile i wont beleive a word of it
excellent fight if it comes off. I think Brook takes this in a tough tough fight through timing and strength advantages.
Great fight. I think whoever Brook fights that nights a duo PPV. Think it may be extremely hard to get Bradley over here though. He did earn $2m for the Chaves fight and $1.5m for the Vargas fight which was easier fights in his own back yard. I'm guessing HBO will have to put forward some big cash for it, but with Klitschko - Fury getting paid too, and the time of night it would be on in America, I'm gonna say it won't happen in October or in the UK.
Nup, is it really that easy to just say Khan fan. Really shows you up as not having a clue. Has he defended against anyone decent even remotely decent, nope, it has been terrible opposition that Kell could have beat without training for. Every name has been bounced around, Thurman, Rios, Bradley, Mayweather, Pacman none of those have even came into negotations Brooks team. ps Kell sparks out Khan IMO but yeah im a Khan fan (i actually am a Khan fan as well as Brook fan for the record is that allowed on here ?!?!)
ps if the fight does get made i fancy Bradley i just think he has a style that Kell would struggle with. Khan would do Bradley i think tho Id love to see Brook-Khan/Thurman or Bradley with the Bradley fight maybe being the toughest out all three cos of styles
If Brook doesn't fight anyone worthwhile before the end of the year or anything signed for his first fight in the new year then I agree, he's had 2 defences, 1. Was just a mandatory that he had to take, the second was a rubbish opponent, he's not been defending against bum after bum, except for his mandatory he's only had one defence
Perhaps it might be more realistic to put this on the Quigg/ Donaire, Crolla/ Perez II bill and make it PPV over here? :think With Klitschko-Fury taking place the same night for HBO to pay what the fights worth, they might have to go on a bit later and reserve a date in November so nothing clashes with it on their schedule.
out of all those i mentioned .... Kell KO's Khan as does Thurman, Khan beats Bradley but is dropped a cpl times doing so. Bradley beats Thurman i think (not 100% on that either) and maybe Kell I think Kell may be able to stop Thurman also. Of all the fights i think the Brook - Bradley fight is the hardest to call
Hearns got 4 press conferences in 2 days apparently, has he confirmed crolla vs Perez and quigg vs donaire is definitely one of them?
The second defense I might add was taken at 5 weeks notice on a bill Brook was only put on because Matchroom lost the purse bid for DeGale v Dirrell. Given that notice to make it a title fight it has to be someone in the top 15 for the IBF and not somebody coming off a loss, so basically Gavin was the only realistic option. And also, had he not taken that fight, Gavin currently would've be forced into a final eliminator by now against the guy Dan beat- Bizier, so he would've had to fight Gavin sooner or later anyway. Basically all the haters of the Brook v Gavin fight are just hating on Brook for fighting at all that night, rather than stopping home and allowing it to be a PPV platform so they could afford to pay Linares, Gradovich and Johnson to come over.
Well Crolla v Perez is ordered and it will make the most dough in the UK so that is done. He had a meeting with Arum last week I believe to discuss Quigg v Donaire and by the sounds of the snipets I've seen it was a positive meeting.
ps Kell didbnt have to fight Jo Jo ... do you not have a year to face your mando ?? besides Mando's can be a joke as was the case here, If the Mando was Thurman for example i dont think his mando would have been his first defence do you? I will add however that not many folk have been calling Brook out to be fair
