I just think he should pursue Walters, he was only 1 lbs higher in his last fight. Rigo is 4 lbs lower. For the OP to imply that Rigo is/might duck, you have to be fair; by that logic, Loma is ducking Walters.

Sorry, but I've never seen you say anything negative about Ward in regards to him calling out Golovkin, maybe that's not the case and I apologize if so but that's my current perception.

And I've no problem with fighters from higher weight classes calling out someone from a lower weight class, as long as they do not follow that up with some sort of ducking accusations if that person refuses to move up to fight them, I think that should be respected. And if Rigo declines, I've no probs with that.

Walters ain't really all that. He stopped an out of shape and shot Donaire, then when he fought Marrinaga who beat him in the am's, he weight cheated to ensure he had a size and durability advantage over Marriaga, who still repeatedly snapped his head back. Walters is like Broner in the sense that he looks good/decent versus smaller guys. Move him up and watch him stuggle when he can't hurt his opponent. Lomachencko has nothing to fear from Walters, and nothing to gain. That's why he's not interested.

I haven't said anything negative, you are correct. But I have stated before I'd prefer Ward move up to 175 (he should've years ago). Loma has Walters in his division that I'd prefer he fight, I'd love a Rigo vs Loma match but when the time is right.

I don't know, personally I'd much, much rather see Rigo fight than Walters, the latter doesn't even compare to me.

    I can respect that, then.
I think it's a more intriguing fight but I'd like Walters too.

Loma deffo is sporting the t-rex arms, but if that's how you measure the size, Loma = closer to Rigo.
Loma's height advantage is offset by Rigo's reach advantage.

Besides, Rigo is 126lbs on fight night, Loma is usually 129-132lbs. Remember Donaire was 139lbs vs Rigo.
Walters however is 145lbs on fight night. Walters looks like he should be a lightweight, not even a super featherweight.

I think Walters should prove that he can make the weight and win another title, if he can't I've no doubt we'll see the fight at 130 at some point anyway, Lomachenko will move up, make no mistake about that. He moved up to fight lightweights in the amateurs.

That's not entirely true, Loma has come over 132 multiple times, I think up to 138.5

Lomachenko has more often been 136 or higher than in the 129-132 range.

So, Loma doesn't want to fight nobody above 126 but requesting to fight a small SBW? ...

True. I put usually (I thought he weighed 131 vs Rodriguez but was wrong), but I guess 3 of 5 he's weighed more than 132lbs.
He's been as low as 129lbs, and against Piriyapinyo recently, 132lbs.
Lomachenko would not heavily outweigh Rigo on fight night, he'd make the 135lb limit if that's what they agree, a formal rehydration clause or not (Loma seeks adherence to rules).

You're just making assumptions and will look like an idiot when he moves up.

But he's outright refused a rehydration clause for this fight he claims he wants and would more likely come in over 135 as he has for the majority of his fights thus far, including the most recent one.
