After watching Quigg-Kiko and Carl-Gonzalez ...

I'm less confident but I still think carl wins

 

Styles make fights and all that. Think he is too big and strong. Whilst Frampton is the better boxer, Quiggs footwork is under rated. Think he will catch up with Frampton and wear him down

 

Quigg is good but has no plan b. Carl showed he has a plan b and his boxing off the back foot is great. His jab for a small guy is great and that jab won him his last fight against the taller guy with the longer reach. Carl is technically the better fight and has the power to KO people. People state how Carl was put down. So too was Quigg by Jamie Arther if my memory is right who isnt a huge puncher. Just think Quigg is getting huge praise for his KO of Kiko but rewatch that first round and the warning signs of Quigg not being comfortable with Kikos power at times as Kiko dominated him in that round.
I look at Carl and I see Carl doing what Kiko did in that first round but in a more impressive style. Carl will out box Quigg and with his power too Carl will still have too much for Quigg.

 

Go back and watch the Quigg Martinez fight, then tell me how many clean shots Martinez actually landed in that first round ?

While you're at it, tell me how many times Quigg found the target with the counter right, and right to the body ?

Quigg looked awkward in the first round, but he landed plenty, and whilst Martinez may have landed with a couple of eye catching shots in the last 30 seconds, he most certainly didn't land at will, and never had Quigg in any kind of trouble at any point.
