How do you rate Rocky Fieldings performance against Brian Vera?

Callum Smith said it is very overhyped and that he is ahead of Fielding at this point in his career?

Do you agree and is anyone giving Fielding a chance?

 

Think callum rightfully will go in as favourite but it's a good fight and either winning really won't surprise me (different to Campbell and coyle in that way)

 

According to Billy Nelson Fielding has the beating of Groves and Degale so if Nelson is correct surely he beats Smith?

 

Billy has made some claims on here I don't agree with but as he is a proper boxing man I obviously have to take his opinion seriously, I can see Groves vs Smith (if smith wins) before we get groves vs degale

 

Dunno Vera was way past it andit was fairly obvious ... we havent really seen Rocky in the trenches havin to work hard and we have seen that from Smith. Smith had better not underestimate Rockys heavy hands tho he finds anyone in the division clean on the chin the will prob go down.

I said on another thread Rocky is like a big daft dog, I cant help but kinda like the guy and he always steps up to he plate. I think in this fight tho Callum is better at range and inside and also vastly better footwork .... still Rocky can KO anyone

 

Did you agree with the scorecards in the Smith v Rebrasse fight, I sure didn't I had it alot closer. Some judges didnt even give Rebrasse a round I think.

 

I dont think the scorecards were really wrong to be honest but the scorecards didnt reflect the fight. many rounds that Callum won he didnt massively win but did enough so a lot of 10 - 9 there were a lot of these rounds were he edged it. however i wil also say that callum doesnt hit as hard as folk thing he does he couldnt stop Rebrasse/discourage him the entire fight.... Rocky will be the same lol Rocky aint smart enough to know when he is being hit lol !

 

Think everyone has learnt to ignore his predictions and views on fighters.

If I want advice from him, it'll be on where to get the best cakes in Glasgow.

 

Having met Billy 3 times in real life he has been more than happy to spend time with boxing fans have a chat with them and doesnt look down on folk that many many others in the game do. He has been spot on with me. he seemed very genuine to me and didnt have his head in the clouds.
