Hmmm. What do you all think? I think Lemieux has more concussive force on his punches, though we have seen GGG KO people with a single punch before. Sounds like hes not really sure overall in the fight.

  2. David stays in the inside and never backs down he can pull it off. He does not have the crowd behind him and if he does not go out on his shield against Gennady" the storm trooper" Golovkin his career is over.
Golovkin is still pretending to care but he is a vicious liar and a iron chinned killer who is deathly afraid of Cubans and guys from Oakland.

  3. No, I look at Golovkins punches & he is as devastating (if not more so) without ever really putting everything into them like Lemieux does! He's just being humble.. I mean he's just methodical & relentless at cutting the ring off! Both at full throttle? Golovkin would hit harder IMO..

David may have more one punch power, but Gennady's punches are better placed/thrown is why I'd say he is the overall better puncher.

I guess that sums it all. But it also makes some question.

How will GGG boxe if he has to walk back, if he can't just go reckless, if he brake his nose, etc.

Lemieux is younger, and when you are younger, you are more reckless. GGG is getting to that age where you get more cautious. GGG already said he is a little bit scared (which he would be dumb if he wasn't). How will that affect his incredible pacing?

This is a good fight and I think Lemieux will do better than expected. Not only does he hits really hard, but he is also fast, and a better counter puncher than given credit for. His defence is often his offense, and against GGG that might become a problem.

Oh, Lemieux will definitely do better than expected. And because of that, people will use it as a way to further criticize GGG. Kinda of ridiculous but I can see it coming from a mile away.

I am not sure if Lemieux hits harder, but he has better hand speed, thats for sure.

    Outstanding comparison.

Although, if I may add my own two cents, the gap in skill between Lemieux and GGG is even wider than that of Shavers and Foreman. Perhaps considerably wider.

But your point, an outstanding one, still shines.
