I understand why people think Vitali would've won but Lewis was victorious according to the rules of the sport and it was from a legitimate punch, therefore TKO6 is what happened. He was also unmotivated so a rematch would've been interesting. That uppercut he slammed Vitali with was unreal.
He was exposed on the old lounge...!!! Turned out he was a caucasian male that tried to act like he was a member of the Urban Regional Demographic Population...!!!
What was the point in a rematch Lennox almost took Vitali's face off when he was barely 80% ready to face his #1 contender on 10 days notice. A 100 % ready Lennox would .decimate the big robot it would have been SLAUGHTER!!!! Its way passed due time that HRH placed her sword on Lennox Shoulder & said " Arise Sir Lennox Knight of the Realm" "
An old and out of shape Lennox Lewis was able to use his experience to smash in a prime Vitali Klitschko's face despite being behind on the scorecards. http://www.mightyfighter.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/vitali-eye-2.jpg As you can see, the stoppage probably saved Vitali's career and health; but despite Vitali's youth, he had no answer for Lewis's power. As we know, this is the sport of boxing, and being ahead on the cards mean nothing if you get knocked out. Perhaps Vitali's legacy against defeating the mediocre 2000's-2010 H.W's is put into perspective by this? Discuss.
