    Wlad UD.

Wlad has better control of range than Bowe or Lewis. Wlad will throw a lot of jabs (like usual) to keep Holy at bay and the occasional left hook/right hand that will land. This will keep Evander far enough away for Wlad to win round after round.

Holy is able to be outboxed (Bowe, Moorer, Ruiz).

Holyfield had the in and out footspeed and pure confidence to take it to Wlad. He wouldn't be plodding or hesitatant like most contenders Wlad has fought. He would put Wlad in survival mode. Wlad would be clutching on for dear life. Holy by DQ in the US or late stoppage.

    Holyfied by KO.

Holyfield would be able to get inside, throw combinations to the body and head and move outside. Unlike Bowe, I do not see Wlad's chin standing up when he gets tagged cleanly over the course of the fight.

Prime Holyfied could it all.He could box and he could brawl. Holyfield is no David Haye.

This is nonsense; the older Holyfield's defense was barely different to younger Holyfield.

The younger Holyfied had better speed, foot movement and punch output.

Wlad on points. You don't have to like his style, but it leaves very few openings or mistakes for Holyfield to capitalize on. Wlad's also disciplined enough not to get drawn into a brawl unnecessarily, unlike Bowe.

Younger Wlad, there's a much better chance of Evander absorbing the punishment and wearing him down late, utilizing superior conditioning.

Evander is just about my favorite heavyweight of all time and one of my top 5 favorites period. Man fought with heart, was always in shape, and rarely if ever talked trash. But I don't know how much confidence I have in him to take this one. Sure he could bang with anybody and I can't imagine anyone ever beating him easily. But as Fist already said, Klitscko isn't going to bang with him and give him any opportunities to do his best work.. Wlad will fight cautiously, use his height and reach, and ultimately end up out jabbing Evander to a decision in my opinion. This is no knock on Holy who is one of the best ever. This is just the wrong type of fight for him.

What video footage do you refer too? The older Holyfield had a weaker defense; he was slow. Even Michael Moorer was able to get through his defense and out-box him.

The Holyfield of the early 1990's was faster, better timed and all around a better boxer.

you make some good points :good

However, I think this is a close fight, Vlad's jab could make things very difficult for Holy :bbb

No he didn't ,what fight are you watching you do know holyfiled embarrassed Moorer in the rematch right? He quit in the first one due to health altercations at that time.Ive already stated he was faster ,however soeed doesn't beat out power and brains in the Hw division.Holyfield in 91 vs 99 would not go good for 91 holy,he was better than Bowe at the 217 pound weight and had that stiniging jab which kept him in the fight with lewis,a better jabber than bowe.

What fight did you watch which led you to believe late 90's Holyfield was better?

Moorer after losing to Foreman was a bum. The Holyfield of the late 90's had a weaker jab and his timing was much worse; he was FAR slower. There's nothing to suggest that Holyfield in the late 90's was better, he had a gameplan for Tyson because he studied Tyson for years. And Bowe always had Holy's number.
