Scenario 1: Both at their LHW primes
    Scenario 2: HW versions

It might end up looking like the 3rd or even the 2nd fight Jones had with Tarver... except this time Jones is in his prime.

Spinks wins, and I say that as perhaps THE biggest Jones fan.

Absolutely could not agree more:good. At 175, Michael knocks Roy out,Period. Jones' only advantages at 175 are hand and foot speed, and Michael was very good in this 2 categories himself. ALL of the other advantages are in Michael's direction especially the old whiskers and ring IQ. Once Michael lands the jinx, it is OVER.

I'll only ****yze at 175 prime, because that is the interesting matchup to me. I think Spinks would win by a late stoppage. Roy would get a big lead early with his speed and movement advantages. Spinks would work the body when he could. He would press Jones late and get him away from the center of the ring. I think Spinks would time a right hand while Jones was fighting off the ropes. Boom. End of fight.

Jones was a great fighter but his 175 lb comp. was not great and he did not have as dominant physical advantages at light heavyweight that he had at lower weights. Spinks would have a significant height and reach advantage, and his power was greater than Jones's at this weight.

Nice ****ysis:good. Although I believe it would end earlier. PS I'm pretty certain Saad would stop Jones, too.

I really like Jones, big time :good

However, Spinks was special, so what Tyson smashed him, Spinks had a spooky way to win fights, I could see him responding to Jones awesome handspeed and using his timing to put Jones into a place he had never been before imo :bbb

I rate MS as one of the few ATGs at lhw :good
