There were a lot more fishy draws in the early part of the 20th century. Back then, fights where both participants finished, were often shored as draws to placate the gambling community.

Out of the ones actually on the list, I'd probably pick Lewis-Holy - Holy was being given rounds where he just laid on the ropes and barely threw a punch! Heck, one of the judges even admitted that he scored it wrong, and another just said that she "couldn't see what was happening."

As for fights that aren't on the list, I'd give strong consideration to Armstrong-Garcia II, which prevented Armstrong from making history by becoming the first fighter in history to win titles in 4 separate divisions.

And while it didn't have the significance of of some of the other fights mentioned in this discussion, Gavilan-Bratton II was a fairly awaful decision IMO.

Holy/Lewis without doubt other than I was in a boxing pool and had Lewis winning decision and the bad scoring cost me 10 G's.:patsch

He did beat a better version of Bernard Hopkins 2 times than Joe Calzaghe did.

Nope. Hopkins was coming off his best wins (over Taver and Wright) in his best weight class and fought 'Zaggers in his own back garden and still got schooled. :nod

Easily Lewis Holyfield. There was an epic mismatch of compubox stats. I think Lewis was near record territory in that, actually. It was a travesty that such a route would be called a draw. Holyfield was much more competitive, while still losing, in their next fight.

Worst I ever saw was Fenech/Nelson 1 and that idiotic draw on Kostya Tszyu's record where he knocked the guy out in the first and broke his jaw and the idiot referee called it a DRAW. Those were the worst I ever saw, Fenech beat Nelson very convincingly but hey Don King was in the house so the only thing that was legit were nelson and Fenech

Nope. The Winky fight was at 170 where Winky had never fought at before and had no business being at, and the Tarver fight was after filming Rocky when he had to drop a ton of weight. If you think they are Hopkins best wins, well......lol. And if anyone says Hopkins was a better light heavyweight than middleweight, they are just plain loco or unknowledgeable.

My eyes have seen the glory of the Welsh Dragon my lord!

He made Bernard Hopkins his son and I know that strikes a chord.

He went on to expose PED cheat Jones as a fraud!

The Welsh Dragon goes marching on!

    Glory, glory Joe Calzaghe!
