    I'm impressed.

Latvian cruiserweight Mairis Briedis showed he has some serious power in his hands, knocking out supposedly iron-chinned (which isn't true now) Manuel Charr cold for a few minutes.

That KO was even more imperssive than Povetkin's (vs Briedis Charr was out for good 3-4 minutes, face first) given the fact that Mairis is cruiser really.

Hope it will help Briedis to get big fights at HW and CW divisions.

    That's because Povetkin is overrated.

Povetkin is by any objective standards the #2 man at heavy.

Briedis can bang. That is all that there is to it.

    GREAT KO,
Like I said in the other thread. This win couldn't have happened to a nicer, harder working guy in boxing. We had Mairis in 6-8 Klitschko camps. Always worked hard and was always just trying to "show his skill"on a bigger stage. Maybe this will help. Maybe he can finally quit being a cop in Latvia.

Im happy for him, his wife and his 2 boys. GREAT JOB MY FRIEND!

By the way CHEF, as we all know Wlad has sparred with Joshua, Parker and Dillian Whyte.

How do you rank these prospects from best to worst

And who gave Wlad the most trouble out of them?

    Mairis Briedis ...

    Too slick
    Too white
    Too Latvian

for me it was JA first but I really liked Parker.

    IMO, I would say:
    1: JA
    1a: Parker
    3: Whyte

IMO Parker was slightly harder to figure out then the others, but they all give great work

Just curious, have any of them sparred with Briedis?

And as we know Whyte and AJ dislike each other, how did they do at camp together?:good

Chef, did Briedis ever buzz Klitschko in sparring?

Vitali wasn't a KO artist. He wore down by accumulation.

Even more so comeback and onward He had some pop when he really laid into his punches, but that wasn't often.
