Wud like welborn to win just cant see it. Macklin needs to b shot or weight drained if he gets down to 154. Macklin stoppage 7-9

 

Macklin is well past his sell-by date, and will never win any version of a world title, but I don't think he's THAT shot to be beaten by Welborn.

 

Wasn't Matt 11-11 for his last fight.....how is he going to make 154? That can't be right.....

According to Boxrec, Macklin is also fighting this Friday on the MGM show in Puerto B****. I take it this will be some kind of tune up fight?

 

Yep fights at light middle. 9 years since macklin has made that weight. Looks like they using this fight to see if he can do the weight and b feel strong b4 targeting another world title shot. Tho he doesnt deserve one his got a good reputation in America

 

there is zero chance of Macklin making that weight...

 

Would give Macklin half a shot against Bundrage, but by the time Macklin earns a title shot, Bundrage will probably no longer champ so I'm inclined to agree.

 

I'm not confident he'd even beat Bundrage to be honest. Golovkin well and truly took his soul.

 

Just notice that...:huh He needs a warm up fight for Welbron.....although it is MGM promotions.
