Teymur Mammadov is a 6'5 22 year old Light Heavyweight/Heavyweight amateur. Born and raised and fighting out of Baku, Azerbaijan. Teymur is young and still has a whole hell of a lot of improving to do, he's far from perfect, he lost many matches as an amateur but usually against top tier competitors like Oleksandr Usyk. He's also been the recipient of some very shady victories that he didn't deserve against the likes of brilliant Cuban Heavyweight Erislandy Savon. But I'm not going to hold any of that against him since he was still in his teens when a lot of that happened and is still young as hell now and he wasn't the judge in any of the fights that he was given the questionable nod for. He's a diamond in the rough with a ton of potential, he's tall, rangy, fast, throws very good combinations, he's a southpaw and has a very active jab. Who know when he'll actually turn pro it may be 2016 it may be 2020 and when and if he he finally decides to go that route he'll most likely make an impact. He's been in with some of the best and at times held his own, so with more seasoning he has the potential to become yet another player from the East. Maybe even at Light Heavyweight since he just won Gold in the 2015 European Games. So Check Out Teymur in Action.:toney:toney:toney:toney

Mammadov vs Abdullayev very good fight. Teymur moves great for a 6'5 but he could use a good jab. I have bad feeling he'll not consider turning pro until 2020 :-(

It might be a little early for Mammadov but promoters can't let Abdullayev and Medhzidov sign new deals with WSB. Cuz I'm guessing Azerbijan boxing federation will do everything they can to keep them.

My homeboy. I wouldn't use "heyvan" as a substitute for beast, it is not equivalent once meaning is concerned.
