    Everyone who hates on Floyd always judges him by this past prime version. Floyd at 130 is arguably the greatest of all time at that weight.

    The hate for floyd is unreal, a boxing legend give accolades to his skill level, but we shouldn't believe him, we should believe the non boxing haters.

    only castillo couldve been a draw.
    floyd inmediately gave them rematches and beat them to remove any doubt

    Umm...Where's the hate? You have to give credit where credit is due but come one really? Most people who saw those fights know he lost. No hate here, just being realistic. :thumbsup

    And to be clear about my own position: Boxing has too rich a history to proclaim anybody "TBE." Just one man's opinion. But Floyd is certainly "among the best ever." I don't see how these guys even try to dispute it.

    Honestly, Floyd could have been competitive in any era. But "best", nah.

    Go watch Duran vs Buchanan, either of those guys could have beat Floyd on any given night had Floyd been fighting them instead of Corrales or Castillo. Floyd would have been competitive, he wouldnt have embarrassed himself. But if we had time machines and I had to bet, I would be putting money on Duran and Buchanan.

    The key is in the depth of play, and aggressive timing. The older guys were much better able to make aggressive "interrupt" moves, and find and capitalize on opportunity than most fighters, even top shelf fighters of today. Now, Floyd can do that as well - which is why I say he would actually fit in. He is certainly an elite fighter, but "TBE" is marketing not reality.
