Wlad was not faster than Ali from the 3rd Frazier fight when he was 33 years old.

There is nothing impressive about throwing a fast straight punch from a stationary position. That is not indicative of true speed.

If it was you could make a case for Tony Galento being as fast as Ali.

Anybody can throw a quick 1-2.

Watch Wlad throw a series of punches at Peter. Then you see how slow he really was.

the only thing I worry about is Waldo's ability to cheat by clinching. He is so good at it. Look what he did to Sasha? It was mind blowing. Don't even get me started on that fight!!!!

Fantasy match ups are fought within the rules.

This doesn't apply for example - Froch has the edge over Jones Jr due to the British stoppage or Ottke would beat Froch via German decision.

This board seems to have a double standard with Cruiserweights or Light heavies that gave past great champions trouble.

In 6 months he'll be banned again only to resurface as another alt down the line. But we can live in hope that he falls off a cliff sooner or later.

Not really....the last few comments by the likes of Mendoza ,Pugilist,Rock and myself expose you trying to be smart and discredit me...actually Mendoza coincides that wlad was faster than Holmes ,and actually if you had a brain to think for yourself would see as well as Ali ...only Ali at around or below 210 could compare in speed and that was with LIGHt puffy punches ,NOT power its a FACT...you're really not, your a NON Factor here much like Mcdolt who is tolerated here because he sides with the sheep and has history here...the reality is outside this forum he couldn't hold a candle to me,he would be severly embarrassed if it were just the two of us with no one else to side with him like his lackeys on here !:-(

they fought in the HW division, 200 pounds plus, they'd be heavyweights today and yesterday. nothings changed, except that planet kliturd now exists and we keep getting their inhabitants invading this forum.

if you wait fro a response about something which is already against you, ....good luck, long wait.

The average weight of Ali's challengers during his first reign is 204lbs.
The average during his second is 213lbs
    A combined average of 209.25lbs
The highest average up to that time .
Weight does not automatically translate as skill, witness the barely journeymen skills of some of Wlad's recent opponents such as.
    Leapai. 248lbs
    Pianeta. 240lbs
    Wach.251lbs
Then factor in that if these men has been in proper shape their weight would have been appreciably lighter.
I've made a rational post , not for your benefit, you are a ret*rded moron, but for those on here who are genuine posters.
Go back to your window licking , you juvenile prat.

    LMFAO.

So in UNCLEAN ( think leper ) ESB has yet another self professed " expert " who is so far up himself he actually believes he alone knows everything, and he embarrasses anyone who debates with him. To back up this delusional garbage he cites as fellow experts on this particular thread Mendoza, and Pugilist Specialist, or Rock, or both.

Son, you would have been better off citing Laurel & Hardy, or the 3 stooges. It is quite plain to see they ruined a perfectly good ******* when they gave you teeth.

So here is what you do. Beg Mendozy, or one of the other goons who believe your nonsense, that can post links to show us just one clip of Vlad FIGHTING ( never mind beating ) a fighter with the hand and foot speed of pre exile Ali. Who incidentally weighed 212, 212, and 211 in the last 3 fights before his exile, compared to 213 ( comeback against Quarry ) 215 ( loss to Frazier ) 212 when he beat Frazier, and 216 against Foreman.

Personally I quite like Vlad, but here is a guy that makes Foreman look nimble on his feet. Pre exile Ali probably stops him either by turning his face into a similar mess Lewis turned his brothers into, or by knocking him over enough times for the ref to jump in and stop it. But in any event it is impossible for that version of Ali to lose.

Post exile Ali up until the Shavers fight is still a legitimate favourite, due to the fact he was a of a far superior class to Vlad. Too much skill, ring generalship, and all round ability to lose to someone as basic as Vlad.

You simply can't beat even the slower post exile Ali by jab, right hand, rinse and repeat, which is all Vlad knows. You have to be on him like Norton was, taking shots to land your own, and with that chin Vlad wouldn't go there even with the relatively light punching Ali, because he would still be taking at least 3 before he even threw one of his own.
