No opponent named yet because Pulev has to get in shape while catching his opponent out of shape on short notice.

So, I wonder if Pulev will ***** and moan about drug testing for his next opponent?

Lara will destroy Culcay if they ever cross paths inside a pro ring.Lara plays in a different dimension.

As for Gutknecht he is a very decent fighter, nothing special, but slightly better than your mentioned Serbian boxer.
He will be a very good test for Zeuge.

As for Pulev he needs fights, fights, fights. He is too inactive IMO.Sure,it is probably not up to him to call the shots.I guess his promoter is to blame for his inactivity, but this is pure speculation.Anyway!
I for my part dont care a fig whether he fights someone like Kurtagic or Sukhoterin in his next outing as long as he fights very soon.
Pulev can still be a threat to any fighter at the big boys' league out there except for Wlad.
I for one would bet my money on him if the ever fights Wilder for example.

I didn't consider this, you're right. It would be hard for him to stage tune up fights in Bulgarioa like Povetkin did in Russia.

Yes, that's a good point. Will Pulev insist that his next journeyman opponent will undergo Olympic style random drug testing? If not, then wouldn't Pulev once again be at a "huge disadvantage" because he has to get tested regularly as per Sauerland's contract :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

He is totally dependent on his promoter for getting fights.

As i said in the initial post he said he will announce his opponent once hs is back to Germany but they did announce only the date. Now Bulgarian media is speculating he will fight Carlos Takam and i think he is really really bad match-up for Pulev-very active and strong. But good thing is if he win he will get closer to another title shoot. Still i don't believe they will pick such a strong opponent for first match and getting in mind there is one month i doubt any classy opponent will take the match.

I agree, it is better to have Takam in his second fight. But if it happens then it is good for the boxing fans, I give him props for that.

Did he? Good for him. With the right gameplan, he could have done WAY better against Wlad.

Takam would be a pretty tough opponent especially with him coming off a ko loss and a long layoff. He'd be better off picking up a quick easy win or two before facing a guy like Takam.

Pulev-Takam would be a match up between two top 10(possibly top 5) heavyweights. Hope it happens.

For the most part, I think it's a case of styles make fights.

Head to head, I wouldn't be surprised to see Pulev beat Jennings.
And, against a series of common opponents, I would not be surprised to see Pulev perform better than Jennings.

You wouildn't think so going by what they each did against Wlad, but as I said, I think that's a style matchup issue.
