A more honest statement would be that the whole heavyweight division is garbage. Now having said that, I will say that out of all the garbage out there, Wilder is not the worse. He needs some good fights under his belt and he may develop into an exciting and very capable heavyweight.

A man nicknamed "The worm" put him on his ass with a stiff salami jab.

If you see the actual knockdown, it looks even worse than it sounds.

He's the worst boxer I've ever seen.
Everyone I've ever met would beat him.

Everyone knows he's garbage except for MVC. People keep going on about him being a hypejob and whatnot but who's hyping him? Everyone knows he sucks lol he's not a hype job, he's not popular enough to warrant that title.

Well last night I revisited Bowe v Holyfield 3..........US heavyweights in general are not up to that standard anymore.
Wilder is a product of our own US desperation for a great HW.
He is good btw. I actually feel he has SOME of the needed tools to be a champion, but Watching a near prime Bowe fight on the inside, and rip off 3-5 punch combos with good speed.........Well Wilder is not a Rid**** Bowe type of talent.
He will be probably looked at as an average champion who had a big punch, but lacked the in fighting ability to deal with good brawlers.
So no. I don't see him as a fraud, but a solid, but over hyped fighter who might fit in the vein of Michael Grant in the long run.
However he is more fun to watch than Grant was, some maybe he has an outside chance of being remembered as well as Tommy Morrison if he puts it all together.
I say Morrison because like Wilder there was a great deal of hype surrounding him, but the intrigue of a big puncher with a big ? for a chin = exciting fights.

His weaknesses are what's going to keep us tuning in!

i thought the exact opposite, people talk about it so much i looked it up, anyone that far off balance could be pushed over by a normal sized man, let alone that whale. he deserved it for showboating in the 1st round tho.

I've said in a couple of different threads, with Wilder's spectacular power, shaky chin, charismatic look and limited skills, Tommy Morrison is an excellent comprasion :good

You know this guy is a total bum because even after winning the title they still insist on giving him tomato cans. Guaranteed he's been tested in sparing and been found wanting. There is no other reason for the bummage that he is being served.

Yes, at the time of writing almost half agree with me outright and another 22% think there is some truth to it. Only 6% agree with you. No cause for discussion here at all.

Let me be blunt, you are a buffoon. You are one of the 6% who is fooled by the fraud, adn I think it is less that that because I finally realized that the biggest of your number, that MVC, is just a useless troll. You are one of the few who is simple enough to believe in Wilder despite that fact that I and others have done everything we can to rub your nose in the ****stain.

If the mods take any action it should not be to delete this thread, but to ban you, as you obviosly have no interest in boxing and know nothing about the sport, but just like tall, muscular men.

    Idiot.

Carnera is the best parallel. Morrison or ****ey sort of work, although Morrison, for all his faults, took on anybody and was capable of digging deep.
