I don't know if I can favor Rid**** over either of them, but Wlad might be his best chance due to his shaky chin.

How many more years does Wlad need to go without being floored before you admit either a. Wlads chin is underrated or B. His defense is the greatest in heavyweight history he never gets hit

I think Bowe vs golota should be brought up. In Bowes own words, he had never faced a big man who could jab with him before and it confused the heck out of him

Wlad was just as big as golota except was much much better in every area. Can you imagine bowes reaction when he faces perhaps the most skilled powerful big man in history, who has a telephone pole left jab with an ATG right hand behind it?

 

We are judging them as prime.

 

Precisely why I wouldn't favor Bowe, but feel that Wlad is his best chance between he and his brother. Wlad hasn't been decked or badly hurt in 10 years because he hasn't faced someone with the right combination of attributes to make it happen.. Bowe at least possessed "some" of those attributes in his prime, i.e. Size, power, inside fighting game, durability, youth, great trainer in his corner,etc... everyone else Klits faced over the last decade has been lacking in at least half or more of those things.

 

Bowe lacked defense and avoided punchers as a pro. Open to the right hand, and could be out boxed. WLAD TKO.

By the way Lewis wasn't the only one to floor Bowe in the Olympics. His chin is over rated, but his heart was under rated.

 

Bowes only guy with size remotely to his before Golota was out of Prime Tony Tubbs who took him the distance and won some rounds...see no evidence Bowe beats either Klitchko.

Other than Lennox, he was the last true great HW (I know Evander is in the mix, but I'm talking about a man that was natural HW when I say "true").

 

Bowe always had trouble against fighters with a good jab. Look at the Biggs and Golota fights.

 

Bowe had a better defence than Wlad. Head movement , slipping , parrying and most importantly movement.

Wlad has no defence. Reliance on excessive holding is down to a defensive deficiency.

What happens when a guy can break out of his clinch? Where's his defence then? Nowhere.

Bowe would reck Wlad.

 

Vitali couldn't beat the worst version of Lewis. Prime Bowe was a 100x better than that Lewis.
