Couldn't find the full fight but here's some 2 minute footage of him in action. He looks a bit sloppy, but thats allowed after such a long layoff. He said he expects to be back 10th October in Boston.

Yeah, I mean say if he get's the Flannagan rematch and has the night of his life, ye know? I couldn't see him holding onto it unless they were voluntary defences. But yeah, we've some good prospects alright. Future's bright.

First - I would say Burnett, would hope that he is fast-tracked.The fact that McDonnell and Haskins are in and around world titles also greatly improves his chances of getting a shot.

In fairness, Carroll is only 23, has a great personality, big support from Matchroom behind him, and is improving very quickly. Him (and Luke of course) are Eddie's big plan to crack the Irish market. The wonders that Hearn is doing with boxers who are much worse potential and talent-wise than Carroll would suggest that a world title isnt a far-fetched shout

And yes, Mick. Although don't write Jamie off - if Inoue moves up that leaves a vacant WBO world title and ****** is close with the WBO. Conlan-Butler for the vacant title could happen and Jamie could have a Dunne-esqe performance in him

Unfortunately and I suppose fortunately for some, the way pro boxing is these days it's as much got to do with luck and backing as it is to do with raw ability when talking about who will win a world title. Buglioni is getting ready for a world title fight end of September after drawing his fight before last and not holding high ranking.

Stephen Ormond was only at 80 percent of his best against Flanaghan and not a whole lot in it, if given a rematch I would back him to win and with it a world title but unfortunately he doesn't have the backing from ****** let's hope he gets some with Murphys boxing and gets a shot at world title in near future.

I suppose the IABA cant compete financially with what the Americans would offer.

Although Im not sure he could replicate the success hes had here in America.
The big benefit of having an elite performance unit in Ireland is that due to Irelands geographic size, you can have all the best boxers at one facility, under the eyes of one coaching team.

America is too big for that same system to work.

Best of luck to him, no matter what he does.
Hes been amazing for Irish boxing

Spot on....it's the boxing version of ...," it's not what you know its who you know" ....it's always applied and it probably always will. A strong Irish promotional outfit would help though...otherwise our lads will always be at the mercy of the big UK promoters.

Me too lsc on points, but not very confident about it cos Mares is actually a beautiful boxer when in form and is a big step-up from Leos usual fodder. But lack of pop could be his downfall - if he cant stop Leos relentless advance he will lose.......cant say about the Ruiz-Ceja fight though....you got Ruiz I see..:think
