I believe no film of Harry Greb fighting a real bout exists. Why, because what sane man who would own a silver nitrate film of 90 years ago would not show this amazingly rare and profitable film while it is in visual condition ? He would know that tomorrow it might disintegrate and be worthless...
Amazingly no film exists today of Jack Britton who had 344 fights and
Maxie Rosenbloom who had 299 bouts...Between Britton, Greb and Rosenbloom they had 943 bouts and not one film exists of the 3 of them fighting...Surreal...

 

It is sad.

 

It's so frustrating the lack of Greb film,to find some has almost become the holy grail of boxing.
Burt is probably right, but let's just hope someone out there is sitting on something,who doesn't really know what they've got.

 

My experience of dealing with Noltimeier has never been a good one. He advertised matches as full and when you received them one of the rounds would be deleted. Or the footage would cut off a round before the end. When I complained he would say I will put it on your next order.. Making sure that I would order again. He reneged on a trade once as well. Compared to guys like Fosco, rappa, paplowski, sloate and Compton his quality, honesty and integrity would be in serious question. If he is on this forum he can pm me and I will remind him.

If you are Kurt then I can tell you from personal experience with you that you have done exactly what downgoeslyle accuses you of. You aren't the only one whose been around a long time and I can name exact instances and likely even get those people to post here where you have ripped people off in different ways. But forget all of that, lets discuss your constant cons on Greb. How many times have I, giving you the benefit of the doubt that you honestly made a mistake, emailed you or contacted you on facebook only to be ignored and you continue misrepresenting and selling fights as Greb footage that weren't. How about the Dempsey-Malone footage you edited out of Dempsey-Willard and were passing off as Greb-Dempsey? How about the fact that you previously tried to sell this film as Greb-Tate but when I pointed out to you that Greb NEVER sparred Tate you changed your story to this being Greb-Gans? If you want we can go into this in greater detail but Im sure you wouldn't want to do that in public now would you Kurt? Would you like to discuss your Greb-Dempsey sparring footage? I can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that's not Greb. Or your Dempsey training footage on your front webpage listed as 1921 which I can prove is not only 1926 but comes from the same set of newsclips as the supposed Dempsey-Greb sparring. Or we can stick to this supposed film of Greb and Gans and discuss exactly all of the reasons why its not. Maybe you would like to put me into contact with this "FBI Forensic Expert" and we can go into more detail with him as well? No? I didn't think so. Like I said, if you want to lay out your case in great detail and stand behind your films, if you REALLY believe this is Greb Gans and you really want to sell it for thousands of dollars (which I know you do because you enlisted somebody to hand out handbills advertising it in Las Vegas) then you should have no problem doing that. My guess is that youre more comfortable with people knowing less than more about this "film" and like I said, if it is film then show us a scan of the entire frame and sprockets showing the edge code. Simple, you wont though because I can tell this isn't even a 16mm film as you claim and the edge code would date the film which you wouldn't want.

 

You have never produced a primary source to back up any of your assertions ,the latest being that Jim Jeffries kod Ed Dunkhorst in an exhibition.
You even gave a wrong date and said that Dunkhost gave an exhibition with Jeffries in London,when Dunkhorst was in the US.
When I pointed out that it was Jeffries brother Jack using Dunkhorst's name you did not reply.
