Coetzer was never teleported across the ring when he took flush blows from Bowe and Foreman like Vitali was against Sanders.

Vitali had a good chin but there is nothing to prove it was Iron.

Iron chinner's wouldn't be afraid to walk right thru pillow puff hitters like Byrd, Jonhson , Chisora , Ademek.

What massive punchers did he beat?

He was beaten to a pulp by Foreman, Bruno, and Bowe and very nearly knocked out by Johnny Duplooy. Sanders had Vitali rocked in the first round, but that's about it. He took flush shots from Lewis and kept coming forward. Took shots from Hide, Peter, Sanders and a few others.

No it was just better than Coetzer's and to most people this is painfully obvious.

He fought with the use of one arm for most of the Byrd fight and fought the remaining three past prime in his comeback and beat the living dog shlt out of them.. What's your point by using these examples?

Well I'm sure nothing I list will stand up to the splendid cast of Michael Greer, Kimmuel Odom, Ossie Ocasio, Everett Martin, and Tim "Doc" Anderson...

He took flush shots from neither Peter nor Hide.

He took nothing from Peter. He shut Peter out and kept him outside. Peter landed nothing on him. Sanders was only live for 2 rounds being in the worst condition of his career and being years and years past his best. In those two rounds he shook Vitali down to his boots.
    Others? There are no others.

Of the fighters i listed who eat the Lewis uppercut - Vitali was the one who took it the worst by far.
The basis of his unstoppable chin is based on that fight , where he was rocked , buzz'd , wobbled and stopped. Thats it.

    Watch those fights again.

Taking shots from peter, Sanders, Hide and Lewis >>>>>>> Taking shots from Kimuel Odom, Doc Anderson, Ossie Ocasio, Michael Greer.

You asked me to list who the biggest punchers were that Vitali "beat". I gave them to you. But when asked the same question about Coetzer, you came up with nothing. That distinction belongs to Johnny Duplooy who very nearly took his off... That's it.

Incorrect . Coetzer made short and easy work out of Duplooy.

Coetzer's chin was tested against the greatest puncher ever. And held up.

But Coetzer isn't the issue here. Vitali's Iron chin can't be proved. Good chin but its not Iron.
    Mercer had an Iron chin.
How can Vitali have the same when he reacted a lot worse than Mercer to the shots he took from Lewis?

Watching fights can often remedy uninformed statements. fast forward 9:33 on the clip below.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvePGLbIFeI

yes after getting knocked on his **** first.

He never even fought the greatest puncher ever and was stopped by all THREE of the punchers he did face. BTW you still haven't told me which great punchers he beat.. Still waiting on that one.

Regardless. You have yet to prove that Coetzer's was better and furthermore list the punchers who he defeated as I did for Vitali.

The discussion isn't about Ray Mercer.. Now you're just trying to flee the corner you've backed yourself into.

The fat peter never was hard puncher his only significant ko win
    was the old,glass-chinned Maskaev.The brain****er klitschko fans
try to sell Peter like an ATG puncher.Idiots...

If Bowe struggled against Tubbs, Biggs, and Golota's jabs, Wlad's jab would give him fits.

Cue Dinovelvet seriously trying to argue Coetzer's chin was better than Vitali's. :nut Coetzer could take a punch, no doubt. But Vitali has never been dropped. There's a league of difference here.

Sanders caught him coming in with one of his best shots. I would have put money on him knocking out any heavyweight like that. Good thing I didn't. The uppercut Lewis hit him with should have been illegal it was so hard. Yet Vitali was still upright and in the fight. Bowe has got nothing for Vitali. And against Wlad he'd be kissing jabs all night long.

I give Bowe very little chance vs Vitali, and only moderately more against Wlad. Maybe when Wlad tries to tie him up Bowe could wriggle free and land something big ... an uppercut, maybe, he did have a good uppercut ... and hope for the best. Otherwise it would be Golota all over again, only a more boring, one-sided beatdown.

Gonzalez. I think it was Gonzalez that dropped Bowe in the amateurs.

you'd put money on a retired failure knocking out any HW? LOL

sure he could easily destory a guy like waldo, though, I give you that.

It impresses you because you haven't witnessed Lewis hit many , many other fighters with exact same uppercut. And he didn't hurt them like he hurt Vitali.

The rest of your post is diarrhoea.

I actually remember you hating on Ward. Seems you hate all black fighters.

Coetzer got up faster than he went down. Moments later Duplooy was bombed out for the count. Thats comparable to Vitali touching the canvas against Sanders , which should rightfully have been counted as a KD.
How was it Coetzer never touched canvas against Bowe and Foreman despite taking their best flush on the button?
Thats an example of a tried and tested chin right there.

Vitali crumbled to pieces from a jab and uppercut from Lewis. Whose his chin tried and tested against?
