Fury is better than wilder, you are highly delusional not even counting the wilder remark.

P.S Wlad has already dropped wilder!

Yeah, that's who I'm talking about.. the one who decked the great Joe Louis...remember..? The big difference is, Wladimir Klitschko is no Joe Louis... and would have been counted out... I'm not holding Two Ton out as a great..far from it... he just would've flattens this bum.. I'm just using Galento to illustrate what i think of your great Wlad...:bbb

Hey, at least you are being polite about it.. I don't mind being called delusional.. maybe I am... But tell me.. did I miss something? You said Wlad has already dropped Wilder... I didn't know they fought.. Or did they spar? I'll look for it.. are you the one who is delusional?

I know Klitchko is not joe Louis, hes about 4 inches taller and 4o/50 pounds heavier than Louis was in his prime...Hes also harder to hit and hits much harder, hes also wearing 10 ounce gloves not 5 ounce gloves and doesn't get out boxed by former 140 pounders like Conn or even fight anyone below 200 which would be ridiculous in the first place for a modern HW. :-(

Wlad dropped him in sparring a few years back,i cant post links but theres a you tube vid on a guy who saw it.

And no,Gallento wouldn't win a modern toughman competition today,he was horrible, and I could go to the local bar and take the biggest drunk who outsizes him to look exactly the same, the honest truth is Louis wasn't really that great defensively.I also believe Gallento wouldn't even beat carnera who is considered the worst Hw champion of all time, even a 6'0 300 pound butterbean would flatten Gallento. It is also the reason I pick Marciano to k.o Louis in the 30's/40's as well.

I think Ali would have his moments against Vitali.

Vaughn Bean was making Vitali miss at times. Prime Ali would make Vitali look foolish.

You guys must be wearing either 3d glasses or beer goggles when you reference the Vaughn fight....the guy was battered ,beating senseless round after round,to the point Vitali decking him and watch him regain his senses most of the time then continuing on like he was torturing an ant ,particularly after round 7...vitali also is fighting a 5'11 guy ,he didn't want to commit to much of punching down, ali at 6'3 would be right there to hit for the 6'7 giant.Basically all Vaughn did was bull rush Vitalis mid section and grab him about trunk waist line level, when ducking under vitalis right hand he was under his waist level.

yet Ali barlely connects to a slow Mildenberger for 4 rounds with practically all missed punches?Yet you use one fight to reference and its not even a good one...vitali toyed with that little guy.And not for nothing Vitali is the only guy to ever stop him in a pro fight.

And the thread is Wlad not Vitali.

I just read the records of both Wlad and Fury... Now there's an impressive who's who list of boxing's great contenders if I ever saw one...:-( I admit, I haven't kept up to date on the heavyweights for the past 10 to 15 years.. Because it has been in such a humdrum state... But when I saw that today's so-called boxing pundits here were actually mentioning Wlad in the same breathe as Ali... I said to myself, these people are nuts.. Now, I know the world is coming to an end...first they say Jesus is dead, and now Ali was overrated...and could be beat by this big clown... Get your things in order folks.. the end times are here for sure now.. But before you do, get this straight too!

Muhammad Ali-fought virtually every contender that mattered in an era when most would have won the heavyweight title in another era. And most would've beat the living **** out of today's so-called ABC champs and contenders...George Foreman..who destroyed Frazier, beat Ron Lyle in one of the better fights at that time. Joe Frazier-beat the GOAT in their first match up, beat Bugner and Quarry again. Jerry Quarry-like Ali fought just about everyone, derailed the #1 contender in Mac Foster. Oscar Bonavena-very good contender, gave a good account of himself against Ali...George Chuvalo...like Bonavena, gave very good account of himself against Ali. Ken Norton-beat Ali, stopped Quarry, and beat Jimmy Young...Ron Lyle-stopped Shavers, beat Bonavena, gave good account of himself against Ali... and Foreman and Earnie Shavers-kayoed Norton, gave good account of himself against Ali and Holmes beat Roy Williams...Larry Holmes.-shutout Shavers the first time....kayoed Weaver and beat Norton.

Compare that list of real champions and contenders that Ali faced and beat..either the first time or rematch...Or his loses after he declined. Let's not forget, his prime fighting years were lost to the draft issue.. Go ahead, compare that to who Wlad and Fury's list of opponents.. It's laughable.. Ali had trouble with Young, I don't count, because Jimmy made everyone look bad..Norton met Ali on the low end of his decline side..if it had been a 15 round fight, he may very well have stopped Ali..who fought with a broken jaw most of the fight.. Wlad, quit on his stool when claimed injury to his shoulder, or was getting beat...and the referee saved him from further punishment.. He's protected property..

Most people do think I'm a nice guy, thanks for that UT...I bet you are too... But you're still full of ****.... me too... :hi:

I know im not the one who thinks a 5'9 bum of a fighter like Gallento would defeat 6'6 giant with actual skills, that you can have, and its probably the most ridiculous comment ive ever heard, particualrly b/c you actually believe it and are not trolling or being a fanboy....:yikes

The world beaters you speak of that Ali fought either beat him or he struggled against guys not even capable of being Wlads sparing partners and what many consider his actual prime which was the late 60's and his greatest performance is that of a handicapped Cleveland Williams suffering from leg disease and immobility because of spinal nerve damage?:-(

I challenge you to make a Gallento vs Wlad thread and explain how he losses that fight.lol...lets see what fool actually would agree with you on that one?Even if a poster like janitor agreed it would shock me !:patsch

IMHO he wouldn't need to do it all night. This is where ring generalship comes in, Ali was a master of dancing just out of the other guys range, forcing him to lunge, or over reach and countering the hell out of them when they did. I see him easily doing this to Vlad, and dropping him a few times in the process to score a TKO around the 10th.

I'll say it again. If 64 - 67 Ali had burst onto the scene in 2000, EVERYONE Vlad has faced since would be mere stepping stones for Ali to get to the only 3 he would have been interested in fighting. Vlad, his brother, and L.L.

They are a who's who of nonentities.

As far as I'm concerned if Brewster, Puritty, and a part time fighter in Sanders ( far more interested in his golf career than boxing ) could KO Vlad, then it is quite possible Shavers could do the same. I'm not claiming he had the skills, but definitely the power.

Vlad simply doesn't possess an Ali, or Holmes type chin.

    Another simple question.

Other than unclean and a couple of other numpties, is there actually anyone else on this board who believes prime Ali couldn't or wouldn't have found a way to hit and humiliate David Haye?

Because we all saw Vlad being unable to manoeuvre Haye onto his shots, due to him being slower than molasses.
