Because it's being pedantic, relatively speaking Magdaleno is average, 50 percent of the top 50 of a very weak division could probably beat him, probably a few unbeaten prospects out there who could beat him

Diego isn't even the best active fighter in his family

No way could you say fighting Diego Magdaleno is "in deep" even for Flanagan, someone like Shafikov would be "in deep"

 

Both of those beat Flanagan, so yes.
