Hatton was bigger than Floyd. I really need to be educated about how that put him at a disadvantage.

Because he was a career light welterweight and out of a career of over 40 fights here is his WW career

    Collazo

    Floyd

    Senchenko

You need to be educated about why Hatton was a better LWW than WW??

There are a good number of fighters you could argue as prime HOFers but it's all subjective. Castillo from top to bottom has better wins and arguably a better resume than Marquez and is considered the best LW of his era yet Marquez is considered a HOFer & ATG and Castillo isn't.

No, dumbass. Floyd had fought the majority of his career in weightclasses beneath 140 up until that point and to this day enters the ring weighing less than Hatton did. The fight could've been fought at 140 or 147. It had no bearing on the outcome. Floyd would've made weight easier than Hatton at either 140 or 47. Hatton's in ring abilities didn't magically improve by drying out to 140. Hatton's improved outcomes at 140 had to do with him being larger than his opponents. Incidentally, he was larger than Floyd at 47.

The only person having a problem with reality is you. Reality: Ring Magazine had Floyd at #12 in the modern era before he beat Pacquiao. Deal with it. That is the "reality" of the situation. The reality isn't "what you wish it to be."

You guys can post, cry, scream to the heavens for all I care. Doesn't change the fact that Mayweather will go down as one of the greatest boxers in the modern era.

Its a tough question though... It seems like there is always some kind of excuse can be dug up in most cases. I don't buy into most of them... I also think Floyd's movement would have troubled Pac at any time.

I like you C.J you are in boxing forum talking 24/7 about your boyfriend Floyd Mayweather.maybe you should try to get real life boyfriend instead of this imaginary one?

I also like how somebody whole life can be around one man he doesn't even know.remember you only life here One time, life could offer you so much more than ranting in internet about Floyd.

We already all know here you don't like Floyd and try to dimish him in every thread, and repeat all the same thinks.only difference is that you write it slightly different.

You can continue this until you are dead, nothing away from me.i'm just curious how you are Still interested doing this?because as a outsider,it seems you have really strong fetish on boxing forum/Floyd Mayweather.it's not anywhere normal.maybe go seek some help?and i'm serious.also i don't mean anything bad,i wish you good luck.and hope you get your **** together some day!

It's hilarious and also sad at same time.

I don't want to be rude, but many Floyd haters are hardcore Pac fans, and you know they have access to Internet in Philippines.and how to say this, they are not excatly Albert Einstein's.

Also like to C.J hating Floyd has become obsession or somekind of fetish.it's not anywhere normal to spend several hours everyday speaking bad about someone you don't even know.

I mean in someway it's even creepy.and no need to be genious to understand C.J etc all have pretty sad life.but i wish them all well.

Best way to help these boys, that you never reply to them back.

Their life depends on arguing about Floyd on daily basis.and also if someone is blind of hate.it doesn't matter what FACTS opinions etc.. you say, they don't accept the truth.

So it's like totally pointless to answer them.maybe we should all try to do something to help those boys?i mean C.J Imperial1,boxing_master,ladygirl etc..

Just that nobody will ever reply to them,or write to their threads.because it's also totally pointless.they don't understand or accept anything.

Youre the one who needs to be educated. Floyd started his career at 130 which was his best weight. He was smaller than Hatton. When they fought in 2008, Floyd had only fought at WW 3 times. Hatton just got his ass kicked because Floyd is a superior fighter

    Depends who makes the hall.

Hoya and Gatti are in, he beat both when they were titlists.

He was not prime. He was shot to ****. Collazo ended him. I can't explain this any clearer than I did in 2 consecutive threads, both of which you were participating in.

Look, there are two kinds of users on this board.

1 kind boxed, understand boxing, understanding conditioning, weight classes, etc. They saw that Hatton was on a self-destruction path, and they saw that he started struggling at 140 towards the end. He couldn't bully his opponents with his physical style because his body couldn't keep up with his drinking and terrible weight fluctuations. When he moved to 147, the Collazo fight was picked to showcase his skills and to allow him some breathing room since he couldn't make 140. He came into camp at over 200 lbs, cut down to 147 and looked like a damn corpse. He then fought Collazo in his usual manner, bum rush the opponent, sneak a few hooks in, wait for the ref. It worked initially, then Collazo didn't fold like the guys at 140, and it all went to HELL. I have never seen Hatton so decrepit, so tired, just going through the motions. I have also never seen Hatton seriously hurt until that fateful 12th round when Collazo landed a perfect shot and Hattons knees buckled. That was the end of Hitman.

Then there is a second group. The boxing groupies, following boxing because their favorite celebrities box. They will say Hatton was prime in the PBF fight. But that is on them.

From reading this thread it is apparent that Floyd is sh-tting all over #48 Fighter of the Decade and his fans are in crisis and panic!! My suggestion is you accept reality, you can't wish a fighter to be better than another, we are sorry your wish of #48 supremacy didn't come true.

OK so you saying Floyd waited for the drugs and alcohol to kick in so he could have an easier time for Hatton? Or was it more how I remember it, Hatton and his team announcing that they were not ready for Floyd at 140....did you not see that, did you miss it, you where around back then right?
