Tyson was known as the baddest man before UFC went mainstream your logic isn't even relevant using the money excuse...to put it simply Tyson out priced himself in what could have showed the world THEN ,boxing is not the end to all means in combat! Tyson went on to do other freak shows like WWE and so forth if one boxer who said no one could beat him really thought that he would have jumped right in there..Tyson himself says he watched the early ufc's and highly doubt he could win so again your argument is moot regardless of money.No one really knew of the challenge unless you read black belt magazine or watched the UFC on PPV.no live television or internet even covered UFC,so saying Royce using ufc as a publicity stunt in false as well.And for the record it is the reporters and boxing people like Leila Ali who continue to stir the pot not Ronda or McGregor who was asked how long would mayweather last with him by a REPORTER..

I don't think Royce would have beaten Tyson. Would have been a wrestler, that had the takedown ability, along with size and strength.

 

Dude you dont get it. Holly Holm left the sport to pursue MMA while being ranked the best pro boxer in the world. This is something no other boxer did. Why you would bring up a shopworn flyweight division pro boxer like Vic as a Mayweather opponent or amateur level boxers who went to MMA is beyond me.

You also dont understand the concept of financial incentive for multi millionaire superstar. BTW this may sound crazy to a guy like you but the WWF (as it was then known when Tyson did non wrestling roles) had a much bigger, much richer tradition than the UFC did
