Top 20-30 accomplishment wise, maybe even top 40. Could be much higher, but didn't take certain fights at the right time, plus, the talent pool available wasn't that great.

Top 20-30 all time in the range of Pernall Whitaker. His consistency is amazing and will stick out years after he retires. ATG, but not close to being TBE.

Hopkins JMM and Manny, Huh? Last I Checked Floyd has 7 HOF'ers 22 Current or former champions, and Manny on his resume. 1 of only 2 fighters to have had Lineal Title in 4 different weightclasses and 1 of only 2 boxers to have held the Lineal Titles in more than 1 weight class simultaneously. I'm sorry, but you rank as one of those DKSAB individuals.

I value the opinions of career boxers and trainers more than I do yours.

Most boxers and trainers ranked him top 20 when asked years ago, many citing top 5 or 10 even.

He ranks top 5 all time. If you say any lower it is because you hate him. He has fought and defeated 7 current or future HOF fighters 22 or 23 current or former legitimate Champions, is 1 of only 2 fighters in the history of the sport to hold The Lineal Title in 4 different weightclasses, and 1 of only 2 fighters in history to hold the Lineal Title in more than 1 weightclass at the same time.

Honestly I doubt he'd make the top 50.

Hopkins is FIFTY YEARS OLD and fighting terrifying opponents in guys like Kovalev.

Hopkins didn't need ANY silly stipulations to fight him - he just got on with it.

Also went undefeated for 10 years.

Is in discussion for top 5 MW's of all time. And that division, historically, is LOADED with ATG's.

Manny's wins over Barrera, Morales and JMM at their optimal weights is MILES in front of any of Floyd's wins.

People spout off about his achievements, but a LOT of it is very calculated.

This post here is the winner, not some random dudes on boxing forum.they don't have credibility at all.they are the ones who doesn't know anything about boxing.and i mean zero.

Best advice,to everybody is just ignore these.there is no point arquing them.just post some FACTS about trainers and boxers say.then ask do you know more about boxing than HOF trainers and boxers.

And 99% of these critics have never even sparred, nevermind had an actual fight.how in earth you think your opinion ia right, when obviously you don't know nothing about the sweet science.

I could go on all day with this and destroy those ignorant fools.but they are that ignorant that they refuse to accept that.so it's little bit pointless.

And Pac fans.go ask Freddie Roach the trainer of your hero.why the fight didn't
happen 2010.these fools don't even believe Roach.it's comical and sad.but that tells all about them.it's so obvious.they don't live in real world.they are living in fantasy universum.

And it would be hilarious to start a thread about past ATG fighters, and be as critical to them as they are Floyd.

Example Julio Cesar Chavez sr. Floyd haters logic, this man is not even HOF fighter.nevermind ATG.beat 100 taxi drivers and couple if okay fighters.that's it.

    What a troll "Gannicus" is...

I rank Mayweather top 25 ever. My list? Spending 10-15 minutes thinking, in no order:

    Ray Robinson
    Henry Armstrong
    Joe Louis
    Muhammad Ali
    Willie Pep
    Carlos Monzon
    Ezzard Charles
    Harry Greb
    Jack Johnson
    Sam Langford
    Benny Leonard
    Sandy Saddler
    Roberto Duran
    Ray Leonard
    Marvin Hagler
    Tommy Hearns
    Archie Moore
    Bob Fitzsimmons
    Gene Tunney
    Pernell Whitaker
    Julio Cesar Chavez
    Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    Manny Pacquiao
    Mickey Walker
    Tommy Loughran

All kind of other guys come to mind that would certainly fill out a "top 50" like Gans, Griffith, Wilde, Lopez, Sanchez, Ketchel, Villa, Conn, Jones, Hopkins, Marciano, Jeffries... it's highly up to the beholder.

So go on and tell me about how horrible that list is and about how my opinion can be discredited off the top because of it. Please do. Talk to me about how bad my list is and, obviously, post your own.

Around top 20, the thing is that even if Mayweather is a great boxer in terms of his ability, perhaps one of the best ever, the older guys used to fight much better competition more frequently, it'll be hard for any modern boxer to surpass them.
