    Didn't know he was fighting for the belt tonight. My bad.

    I guess if he loses will go back to 122lbs and keep his belt.

    Unless he stays at featherweight (as he presumably will if he beats Mares and claims the belt) in which case Ruiz (or Ceja, if he makes a comeback) will be promoted in his stead to full WBC 122lb champion. That's why they're having this for the interim title, in the eventuality that LSC doesn't return.
