Almost as ridiculous as tinman giving Manny a 10-8 round with no knockdown

Exactly. And Floyd wins the fights. If you argue he lost to maidana or Castillo he beat them in a rematch.

Dude, can you imagine Floyd in the late 70's/80's as a Welter? He'd have done SO MUCH ducking it'd have been sad.

So, you are saying that Floyd only picks fights he knows he can win? Because that's what it sounds like you're saying...

Oh Ali lost.. He lost his health win or lose.. That's the only reason why it was stupid..

If it didn't happen, people would say Floyd would never call out Mosley or Oscar on his come up.. If you haven't noticed, anything bad no matter how dumb it is, people think Floyd would do it.. People take the Floyd show personally.. That's like believing Ice Cube is a cop.. There was a rumor about Floyd murdering a couple people and people believed it.. Why? Because he supposedly ducked xyz, flash his money, and talk trash.. You tell me that doesn't sound stupid...

Yes, this is my point. Whereas if Ali had fought at WW, or someone with Ali's mindset had, they'd have fought everyone available.

Floyd's saying that Ali lost to Leon. Yes, he did. But in my opinion, he lost to Leon because he was shot, and he shouldn't have been fighting at that point. And the reason he was shot at that point, was because he'd abused his body both in the gym and in the ring, fighting guys like Foreman and Frazier, the type of guys who in my opinion, Floyd would never have fought.

It's easy for Floyd to criticise someone else, when he's fought less fights, at different weights, in a different era.

    Basically, everyone's circumstances are different.

Ali, is the Greatest. Floyd, is the best since Ali. Both are top 5, in terms of skill and accomplishments All -Time. No more threads need to made on it.

This is another dumb thing people say.. It would be dumb to go into a fight that you know you can't win right? Every fighter that gets in the ring think they can win.. Maybe they figure out they can't during the fight..

Then you say that Floyd wait until they're past their best.. Well Floyd had been past it for just as long or longer.. He called out the Mosleys and Oscars of the world when he was younger and not "Money"..

This has been the argument for years.. It did get quite boring.. I'm guessing the next part would be his Floyd's style means hrs fresher longer...smh

    You're going off course here.

Again, my opinion was that Ali took the type of fights that Floyd wouldn't have.

If you have a problem with it then alleviate the symptoms.

Name one great fighter that Floyd has fought in their prime. If you can do that then there is no more need for discussion.

How on earth can Floyd be top 5 based on accomplishments?

On skill, I've no issue with that, even if I disagree. But not on resume. No way.

Really??? 12 time world champion in 5 different weight classes ( no cathweight title). Undefeated, beat more world champions ever ( 23 world champions Floyd has beaten). Broke every PPV record, made boxing relevant again. Boxing events are the number #1 attraction thanks to Floyd. Need I go on?

    Made Boxing relevant again?

    1) He NEEDED Oscar to cross-over. Look at his pre/post Oscar numbers.

    2) Boxing is and was massive worldwide.

EIGHTY THOUSAND at Wembley. Floyd hasn't done a quarter of those numbers at any one time at his fights in terms of attendance.

Wlad has 30-6- thousand people attend his fights EVERY TIME HE FIGHTS.

Boxing still would have been huge worldwide without Floyd. I mean it only survived 100+ years WITHOUT him.

Boxing events are the number 1 attraction where? Here in England MILLIONS of people go to soccer matches EVERY SINGLE WEEK. And soccer SMOKES boxing on a international scale based on popularity.

    You, sir, are clueless.
