..to actual robberies. Many of you keep saying Floyd got a gift or Castillo was robbed. To me when I watch that fight the most fair outcome probably should of been a draw, Floyd outboxed Castillo the first 5, Jlc came on in the middle rounds, both guys got point deductions and Floyd came back strong in the last two rounds. It always was a close fight and the best decision was rematch, which they did.

Now compare that fight to actual robberies like Chavez-Whitaker, Rios-Abril, De La Hoya-Sturm, Holyfield-Lewis I, Garcia-Herrera,

Floyd-Castillo is not even a contender when you talking true robberies in the sport of boxing.

A big factor in the scoring is also how you score the point deduction rounds. Lederman scores the round that FMJ was deducted a Castillo rd, making it a 10-8, which I personally disagreed with. Also gave Castillo the round that he was deducted a point in, making it 9-9. Don't remember how I scored that round

Another thing is the shoulder injury, Floyd in this fight appears to be clearly injured and laboring, #48 was not

I think Mayweather was about as injured as Manny ie not enough to warrant an excuse for how things went down, Mayweather struggled against Maidana with no injury. He made this a close fight and the shoulder didn't help, but in this I'd give it to Castillo 7-5 without fuss, Maidana 1 I had as 115-113 either way. Castillo took that fight.

Who cares, you Floyd drones need to watch some real boxing to stir the soul not that hugging and running crap. Any "enjoyment" of that boring shit is either fanboy or race based or both. Not true boxing fans.

I called it 7-5 for Floyd, but there were a couple of rounds that could swing to Castillo, so a score the other way is well within the realm of possibility.

    Good fight, either way.

Absolute bull feces !! Floyd fought a typical Floyd fight. Floyd wasn't injured he got his butt kicked & tried to make excuses Only difference in Castillo fight & May 2 was the judges gave the Castillo fight to Floyd. They gave Floyd highly inflated scorecards to ensure he won on May 2

Yeah Castillo 1 was a close fight imo so I have no issue if people give Mayweather a close win, personally I think Castillo took it though. Maidana 1 was literally dead even for me, that was a very similar fight but reversed and Floyd got a lot busier when Maidana tired.

CJ they weren't inflated, Pacquiao won 4 rounds at absolute generous best, Floyd won an absolute minimum of 8 rounds, I scored it 9 rounds to 3, most people scored it 9 rounds to 3... for good reason. Just accept it and move on, it's a sport.

Face facts folks Pacquaio claims shoulder injury a torn rotator cuff requiring surgery. Surgery was successful & he is recovering
Floyd claims same injury, torn rotator cuff, against Castillo. Never sees a doctor , No surgery. I guess Leonard caressed it & whispered sweet nuthins in Floys ear & a miracle happened LOL

I think he had scope surgery though, he wouldn't have won round 6 or thrown vicious right hooks throughout the fight or raised his arms if it was a severe rotator cuff, you love Berto right now so check out his fight with Karass for how a severe shoulder problem affects how you fight.

In YOUR opinion Floyd won 9-3 right? You admit you have only just started watching boxing right? Who are your " most people" Floyd fans like you Right?? All Floyd did in that fight was RUN & HOLD he was scared to engage an injured opponent.
Watch when he's holding how Floyd yanks on Manny's right arm he knew he was injured alright. Even Floyd sr basically called Floyd a coward he knew Floyd was in danger of losing that fight. In fact he TOLD him he was losing.
In reality Floyd barely scored a win, the 118-110 & 9-3 scores are LUDICROUS. You need to accept the facts my friend
Yes boxing is the greatest sport in the world when its not corrupt this whole deal was corrupt Boxing is corrupt today $$$$$$ is all that matters now:patsch

Saying I love Berto now is childish please grow up.
I've had a torn rotator cuff & it HURT!!!! especially when I tried to raise my arms above my head. Mine wasn't serious & immobilizing my arm let it heal itself
I'm a boxing fan I want to see fair fights with the REAL better man getting the win whichever fighter that may be.
I posted before the fight on May 2 that if it was a fair fight with no corruption & Floyd won fairly I would be the first to congratulate him & call him champ. Same way with Manny.
Sadly that did not happen the whole show was a disgrace & the result was null & void
