Andy is 10/11 with pp,i think its easy money,was willing to have a good bet with Len in Limerick but will now have to relieve pp of a few.
Andy never seems to get credit from some people no matter what he does,he has answered all his critics regarding cutting too much,gasing out during fights,no chin--bla,bla,bla.
Lets look at the facts regarding Andys upcoming fight with bjs.
1/.Andy has serious power in BOTH hands,is capable of ko anyone in the middleweight division.
2/Andy has fought at a lot higher level than bjs.
3/bjs is technically a good boxer.
4/bjs gases out in the latter rounds.
5/bjs has no serious power and can only win on pts.
Of these facts we can narrow it down to two of the most important ones.
1/Andy has serious power in BOTH hands and is capable of ko anyone in the middleweight division.
2/bjs gases out in the latter rounds.
With these two facts i can only see one outcome and that is Andy by ko in the latter rounds.
And i wont go into how much Andy has improved technically under booth and can match anyone.
Roll on Oct. 10th and looking forward to Lens escuses or maybe he will say bjs was distracted but Andy will never beat spike,i can hear it already.
Lets all get behind our real world champion and(we don't have too many).

I had my doubts about this fight all along. Its been on-again-off-again more often than a hoors knickers. How long has it been touted -12 months??

Certainly dents peoples confidence in all the participants - particularly the promoter, Wazzen. I would be slow to buy a ticket for one of his promotions after this and Im sure plenty of other will feel the same. Imagine if you had bought tickets, hotel etc for Limerick, and then did it all over again for Manchester - you would be savage!!

The one saving grace might be a chance to make Spike-Lee happen instead. A better fight to watch - plus the title stays in Ireland!!

 

Its a bit of a mess alright,Hopefully Andy gets to box in Ireland next,because he signed for his mandatory and his opponent pulled out that will prob mean he would be granted a voluntary before the end of the year if he looks for it,
Just checked WBO ranking and they dont have spike in their top 15(yet the have kerry hope :rollthis may mean we wont get to see two irishmen boxing for the world crown in ireland just yet,Although these things can be worked around,

 

Lets hope it can be worked around for a Spike-Lee fight in Eire this year. Such an event is needed to wipe away the bad taste left by the on-going Lee-BJS farce. Plus it might restore some much-needed confidence in Irish venues that may have been put off hosting pro-boxing events as a result of the slovenly promotion surrounding the Lee-BJS fiasco.

 

Where are the usual suspects today???? -Fra, Mattdonellan, Moorser, Buchannans Jab etc etc The silence is deafening. Normally ye're on here talking about 2 flies crawling up a wall - yet today we have the biggest boxing shock news of the year and not a peep out of ye!!

its moved out to late november now due to BJS cut more to follow re venue etc. Oct 10th card still goes ahead
