Let's have a ban bet as to who the judges picked in round 6. You win I leave I win you leave. I'm tired of this bull ****.

    2 judges gave Lennox 5 and 6.

The third one gave him 3 and 6.

Most of the boxing press had it as 3-3 going into the seventh. ;)

This whole thing is the biggest non issue in the history of the sport.

A win on cuts is ultimately as absolute as any other.

which means all three judges gave him the 6th round and basically in terms of the rules of boxing I completely agree with Janitor, it doesn't really matter if Lewis won by cuts or not, he inflicted enough damage that his opponent couldn't continue, and he do so by a punch, not a clash of heads, or anything along those lines.

It really is that simple.. And Klitscko's reaction to the decision to stop the fight doesn't change anything.

You have got more chance of screwing Julia Roberts than he has of doing any research. The scumbag is a pathological LIAR.

I have never called for anyone to be banned from any internet forum, but this lowlife filth should definitely be censored because it isn't stupidity with him it is deliberate lies.

Also his use of the English language, and grammar makes me wonder if he is from one of those commie countries where lying is a away of life.

    FACT.

The original opponent was Kirk Johnson for June 2003.

    FACT.

Vitali was scheduled for December 2003.

    FACT.

Johnson pulled out with chest injury, so the Vitali fight was brought forward 6 months.

    FACT.

Vitali himself admitted he had been preparing for a fight with Lewis even before the Donald fight, because he felt negotiations were going favourably towards that end.

Unclean will now tell more pathological lies without a shred of eve idence to deny this being the case.

both men were not prime, Lewis was 37 and Vitali gained his confidence in this fight. I think it would be a tough match-up prime for prime and if Vitali can get past the early rounds he would be stronger as the fight went on. Lewis had the power but Vitali had the chin so .....tough fight to pick and I think a different result if they fought more than once

Sorry but I never saw anything after the Lewis fight to suggest that Vitali had improved in any way. If anything he declined due to the layoff that occurred shortly following that match. He was in his prime.

i love the Kirk Johnson fight and Williams after Williams stopped Tyson and the Sanders fight was an attrition win but a battering.....He dominated Johnson....even when he came back his win over Sam Peter and Gomez were impressive at his age or any age, Vitali was dominant

They were good wins but also over men who were in poor shape. Sanders was 38 years of age, off for 13 months and overweight. Kirk Johnson was 265 lbs ( the heaviest of his career ) and had been previously beaten by John Ruiz. Danny Williams pretty much sucked. Corrie Sanders vs a comeback version of Vitali would have been a toss up.

I don't care who picked what anyone can add the punches and who was rocked more in that round...common sense overrides any scorecard which I honestly don't know what it was or who won what round other than round 2 which is the most clear round in the fight when Lewis was rocked by a straight right hand and wobbled, holding on for dear life afterwards .What happens after 6 is pure speculation however I have a REAL quote from lewis indicating he wwas at his best, was like fine wine and was going to do this and that after his win...:smooch

Jim Lampley "Lewis leaning on the ropes he looks done in" "Vitali clearly the more energized but his eye continues to close"

"Lewis is ready to be taken" G.Foreman ...all before the end of round 5!:good

anyone can but judges get paid to do just that and they are a lot closer to the action then we are and a lot more qualified. As for who was rocking who, the biggest punch in the round was the upper cut Lewis delivered about 1/2 way through the round. That should be obvious even to you.

Hey sh it head, try lying your way out of this.

In May 2003, Lewis sued boxing promoter Don King for $385 million, claiming that King used threats and bribery to have Tyson pull out of a rematch with Lewis and a fight on the card of a Lewis title defence.

    .

Lewis entered the ring at a career high 256½ pounds.[26] Lewis was dominated in the early rounds and was wobbled in round two by solid Klitschko punches. Lewis opened a cut above Klitschko's eye with a right cross in the third round and gave a better showing from the fourth round onwards, with both fighters looking tired, before the start of round seven the doctor advised that the fight should be stopped because of a severe cut above Klitschko's left eye, awarding Lewis victory by TKO. Klitschko was leading 58–56 on all three judges' scorecards when the fight was stopped.

Next time you are tearing the wings off butterflies and convincing your self you are right in doing so, just consider the amount of evidence that suggests you are in fact an idiot.
