This is one of those fights that in actuality would probably be pretty intense and competitive, but you'll never, ever get anyone to doubt Louis, so why bother posting it?
Please take note of how swarmer/pressure fighters tend to do against punchers Frazier/Foreman Qawi/Foreman Chisora/Haye Hatton/Pacqiauo Cleverly/Kovalev.
Think about how well heavyweights who have never beaten a decent heavyweight do against the greatest heavyweight ever.
Louis is a small heavyweight and qawi showed a decent chin against foreman as well as holyfield. The HWs of Louis era are not the same as the heavys if the 80s
Holy couldn't hit like Louis though, and he did KO Qawi in the rematch. He survived seven with an old fat Foreman but again he was still stopped and the fight wasn't that competitive. Three fights where he's 0-3, two LKOs. I just don't see much there to build a case for him against Louis.
Fat old Foreman realized that Qawi couldn't hurt him with a baseball bat and went on to slap him around for 7 rounds until he quit... Yeah, great performance by Dwight.
Noooo, not nobody picking Qawi...But very few. look it takes a great HW to possibly beat Lewis. Or possibly one near great but with a huge size advantage. Louis did not like swarmers but beat them. After being washed up does not count. both at CW? MAYBE Holyfield. Even then he would do better at HW.
No that's exactly how it panned out I felt sorry for quawi watching it but also sorry for those that paid to see it . Quawi never looked like winning and in truth from half way through the 1st it was clear it was a mismatch , foreman was clearly picking opponents he felt were no threat to him for most of his comeback until his got his title shot against Holyfield
Louis would get to Quawi quickly. Quawi was no Godoy as far as awkwardness and at 5'5 Louis would chop him down in a few rounds
