Eduard Troyanovsky is about to become IBF champ
Victor Postol is about to become WBC champ
Khabib Allakhierdiev is about to become WBA champ again
Ruslan Provodnikov has been robbed in every loss he should be undefeated
Anton Novikov got robbed against Vargas

Postol, Provodnikov, Allakhvierdiev, Troyanovsky, Novikov, 4 of the top 10 at 140 are eastern europeans
plus theres Kirill Reillikh a solid prospect. Denys Berinchyk has just turned pro. Sergey Lipinets,Levan Ghvhamichava, Beselia, Valentyn Holovko has just signed with Di Bella... I think eastern euros will dominate this division for a long time

  2. Postol is about to get knocked the **** out.

Khabib is about to get knocked the **** out if fat ass can make the proper weight.

Ruslan can't box. I wish he would change trainers and get with Garcia or Joel Diaz. Maybe even Floyd Sr. can teach him not to block with his face.

Lol Postol is better than Mattysse in every department apart from.power, if he can take his power ( vast majority of russians have solid chins) then it'll be fairly easy

No chance of khabib getting ko'd his chin is granite. Allakhierdiev is much better than broner.. only chance broner has is if the judges give hom a gift

  4. Then prepare to watch Broner get a gift handed to him in Cincinnatti. The only way I see Khabib beating Broner is a Maidana style beatdown.

    Troya may KO Cuenca

Khabib will outwork Broner and probably get robbed.

Lucas knocks Postol the **** out, and I like Postol a lot.

Isn't that Lithuanian Olympian also fighting at 140? 147 is also getting contenders/prospects from over there. If some think they are making waves now, I can only wonder how many more will be around in 5-10 years?

I can't really comment on Postol, I've only seen very little of him so he may be good but apart from Provodnikov all those guys suck in my eyes.

Egidijus Kavaliauskas or Evaldas Petrauskas? Egidijus is 147lbs and in my opinion is quite talented, I can see him making big waves at that division although it's a competitive one so I'm not sure if he'll rule it or anything like that, as for Evaldas, I think he's pretty good, exciting fighter, though he's not turned pro yet I believe. I consider him the less-promising of the two though.

Speaking of Evaldas Petrauskas I need to do a thread on him, he slipped my mind I was going to do one on him around he same time I did the two on Kavaliauskas and Ponomarev last year.

Sadly none of them can get past Crawford or Matthysse.

I'd give Ruslan a fairly good chance at stopping Crawford.

Yeah, he seems to have regressed a little since the Olympics (I may be wrong on that count, I don't REALLY follow amateur boxing but just from the few headlines I see in the news here and there), I thought he was totally robbed by that Korean dude though.... Which was a shame although he was never winning that gold against Mr Lomachenko.
