But when he KOs chaves in a mismatch, people will say chaves was a bum who had never beaten anyone, thats how boxing works unfortunately these days

true, don't think he deserves to be ranked top 10 in WW to be fair, he's probably 10-15th. He was unlucky vs rios but didn't deserve the draw vs Bradley either. top 15 in IBF are below for all the talent in the division its a pretty poor list really.

Chaves isn't a bad fighter at all. I wouldn't say he is at top level though, having never really won a meaningful fight (he lost to Bradley, that should have been another L).

He's better than Dan and Gavin in my opinion. Not sure he's justified in getting a title shot but then who is these days

I live in Sheffield so I'm looking at buying tickets for the fight.

Does anyone know anything about the undercard? Or would they show the Fury v Vlad fight on a big screen etc?

Decent fight. Kell really needs to step it up again soon though.

It has to be a top 5 name after this.

Fact is brook is avoided in the ww division.
He wants big fights, chaves is a decent match up for the sheffield crowd but I feel he needs to sign with al haymon to get the big match ups cause eddie hearn is a cash cow

I actually enjoy watching Kell fight but that statement is the story of his career.

Definitely needs to sign with someone, but not Haymon.

Look at what Haymon is doing in the states - mismatches! Sign with TR.

Manny, Bradley, Rios, Alvarado. At least he'd get to face them.

Signing with Haymon seems to be the "in thing" but you'd be facing the same opposition here but in the states.

I suspect this will be on before the Wlad/Fury fight if Sky (which seems incredibly likely) has the rights to show that. So the fight will be on at around 9pm with the build up from Germany starting at around 10pm.

I doubt Matchroom would put up big screens in the arena as that would lose them around 90 minutes of fighting time and would be logistically tricky.

It's borderline whether Khan's opponents at Welter have been better than Brook's.

Maybe it's about time Brook stepped up in level and started fighting some decent opponents.
