3 years? Another lie, it was less than 2 years. Yeah his last fight was on BET, if GGG fought on Bravo or the USA network do you think he would draw his normal numbers? No, please use your common sense.

Let me ask you if GGG/Lemieux was on the same card as Canelo/Canelo who would be the undercard?

    Yeah that's waht I thought.

And Rigo got KO'd by Rubio, which showed why we thought Rubio'd be a stiff test, I didn't know he was just coming for the pesos.:patsch

    2 years, wow. Big whoop.

You want to know something funny? I never knew of Andre Ward until I started following Golovkin.

GGG would never fight on Bravo or USA Network because he's extremely relevant and HBO wants him on PPV.

And GGG/Lemieux wouldn't be on an undercard, instead it's a PPV. Ward is on the undercard of someone else's PPV. You can try to spin it every which way you want but Ward is fighting on the undercard and Golovkin is fighting on his PPV. :yep Ward should be glad. If he wasn't the undercard on a PPV then he'd be fighting on BET getting 300K views again. I stand behind my words: Andre Ward is not a draw, fans are disinterested in him, he is forgotten.

It's closer to 1 year and a half than 2 years. So you basically doubled that amount he's been out. Yes that is a big whoop.

:lol: and you wonder why everyone here thinks you're a casual fan.

Let me ask you who does more PPV buys, Lemieux or Ward, or any other MW and no Canelo and Cotto are not MWs.

    You speak for everyone? Wow:scaredas:

Lemieux did Canadian PPV buys for his last fight against N'Dam.

Did Ward do any PPV buys for his last fight against Smith?

how many buys did he do? 10k?:lol: Has Lemieux ever even got close to 1 mill views for a fight? Oh btw, Frankie Gavin was on PPV in England too, does that make him a bigger draw than Ward :lol:.
Ward has a track record of far more views, and all real fans know who he is. If Ward/GGG fought PPV it would outsell Lemieux/GGG by far. No one thinks Lemieux has a chance, people dont buy PPVs to see a one sided beatdown, if this was the case Algieri/Pac would have sold more, Pac/Rios would sell more. The reason why Floyd/Pac sold so much is because people most people thought it was a toss up fight.

Andre Ward was a big name in boxing before Golovkin even came into the spotlight.

    Keyword: "was" though.

More than I thought, but he still hasnt reached the mill mark yet. I'm sure you would even agree that Ward/GGG does more buys.

Probably at this point. But it wouldn't surprise me if GGG-Lemieux hits 400-500 buys.

Exactly, whihc is why it annoys me when GGG fans use the excuses of Ward having no fans, no views etc :patsch. They're just using it as an excuse since GGG clearly doesnt want any part of Ward.
Ward is the biggest draw on PPV GGG can have not named Canelo/Cotto. The fight does 200-300k, no more than that. If it does 500k I'll definitely eat my crow, I'd predict that number or a little higher for GGG/Ward, not Lemieux.

Its not that Ward doesn't have any fans he's just boring as hell and no one but Floyd-Rigo type fans want to watch him. GGG fans we like action and least for as brief as it may be Lemieux will at least try to put up a fight and entertain us.

I'm not even going to argue because the last thing I want this thread to ever become is about Ward. I'll just end with what I started: Ward is forgotten, he isn't a draw.

How can you examine a matchup when you've never watched film of a fighter LOL? You just assume GGG is just going to trap and destroy anyone. if you ever watched Andre Ward fight you wouldn't ask such a silly question. You're supposed to be a boxing fan so educate yourself before you make yourself sound foolish. Andre Ward is the bigger man and much more skilled than GGG. I'm not a GGG hater, but I watch film on fighters without becoming "bored and turning it off after two minutes".
