Overrated Fraud Prospects

No it is a lack of respect, if I went around on the street and called people frauds you wouldn't get a very pleasant response in return. It is a statement that is very disrespectful, I don't mind anyone saying I don't think this person will win a world title or I believe this one will win a world title but at least do it with a bit of respect.

Maybe Smith will get exposed, I don't believe he will but nevertheless I respect your belief that he wont win a world title. Lots of people have been exposed before so it is possible that Smith will but my point is that even if he does then he isn't a fraud is he?

 

If he fighter is presented to be some all destroying world elite fighter, and they don't deliver when they get the opportunity then it's fair to say they are a fraud.

If the man on the street pretends to be a CEO and tells his audience that he is going to make millions, but then you find out he his ceiling is working in burger king making hundreds, then it is fair to call that person a fraud

 

If he doesn't win a world title he is a fraud because eddie hearn once said he was "the best prospect in world boxing"

 

Sounds like when he said Ricky Burns was Scotland's greatest ever fighter.

 

There is a difference, presenting and telling. If someone starts saying I am this then fair enough but when others say they are this then its fine as they have no control over what other people say. Believing you can be the best in the world and only being the best in Europe is not fraudulent either as you are claiming to be a boxer and you are a boxer just of lesser quality. Saying you are a CEO and being a waitress then you are fraudulent as you are making up complete lies.
