Does anyone know why this rematch never occurred?

There was no rematch clause. And the fight ended with a second-round knockout.

    I don't recall anyone demanding a rematch.

but for real the TKO was fluky. It's not like tzsu was dominating zab the entire time. Zab was spanking him in the first round and zab got caught with a good shot.

    it happens in this sport.

zab got right back up and he was more dizzy than he realized. If he taken the 8 count and got up he probably would have seen the 3rd round. It's just kind of shocking there was no rematch for a fight that wasn't extremely conclusive.

Well it certainly would have been great to see a second chicken dance. If not, Zab would have quit in a rematch.

Didn't we just have this exact troll thread recently?

2nd round stoppage is pretty damn conclusive man, let it go. You don't hear Kiko Martinez demanding a rematch with Scott Quigg despite him getting much the better of the first 4 minutes.

How was it not conclusive? He knocked him out in the second round.

And Judah didn't "spank" him in the first round. Judah won the first round. Tszyu knocked him out in the second.

You get knocked out in two rounds, there usually isn't much demand for a rematch.

Or Julian Jackson-Terry Norris. Norris also won the first round. But, when you're knocked out in the second, it doesn't really matter.

zab got up before the count of "two". he was just more dizzy than he expected. He should have taken the 8 count and got back up. he might have been on shaky legs but he would have beat the count for sure.

sergio vs paul williams 2 is conclusive
pav vs jmm 4 is conclusive
    pavlik vs JT is conclusive

in my opinion atleast. if a dude gets up instantly and is kind of dizzy and it's only the 2nd round I would be comfortable asking for a rematch being that there was no point in the fight that tszyu was dominating him and it was early. He just caught him iwth a great shot. Who knows if he could repeat it.

Well, in post fight interview Kostya mentioned that Zab said no rematch after I win, so that probably didn't help lol.

Isn't it considered an automatic KO/TKO if a fighter falls down again after getting up from a knockdown?

And was down again a second later without even being hit again.

You asked why there wasn't a rematch. The answer is pretty clear. You get blown out, people don't tend to want to see it again.

Like I said, I don't recall any demand for a rematch. People weren't interested. They saw the two of them fight. They didn't feel there was a need to see it again.

Judah flatly refused to accept Tszyu's request for a rematch clause.
As the old saying goes "Turnabout is Fair Play."
